Oh, look at that, VR turned out to be a fad after all. Who could have guessed...
Look at the two Jokers. There is so much less detail in the new character model's face than there is in the older one. And look at Batman, the entire shape of his face is changed to make him look younger. The *textures* in most of the game look better, but the character models themselves look like shit compared to the originals.
No, it means because racism towards blacks is pretty much universally unacceptable by modern societal standards, at least in most western countries. Racism against other groups, whites and Jews for example, is not only accepted, but in some cases encouraged. And I would most definitely argue that calling someone a racist slur is a lot different than banning someone from using a building because of their race, or beating them to death because of their race, so no, not all racism is equally bad...
Everyone has equal protection under the law regardless of race. When the law favors one race over another (or several others), that's systemic racism. So yes. It literally doesn't exist today.
Nope, the character models in the "remaster" still look like shit compared to the originals.
Racism today is *nothing* like racism was in the 60's/70's, yet too many people like pretending it is. Systemic racism against blacks doesn't exist in modern western society. I'm worried that the story of the game will be mishandled and the racism, instead of trying to show how things were at the time, will end up being some thinly veiled BLM rant about America today. If that doesn't happen? Great. I'd love to be proven wrong. But I'll believe it when I see it.
I've always liked the Mafia series, and this looks like a very well made game. That being said, I don't like stories about racism, especially not when I can't trust that they won't attempt to draw parallels to modern society that don't actually apply. So I'll probably be giving this a skip. I still hope it does well, though, just because I think the series deserves a lot more love than it gets.
BC2's campaign was way too much like every other military shooter single player campaign and it stripped down all the characters so they didn't have nearly as much personality as they did in BC1. I didn't really like it at all.
I'm not buying it because I haven't enjoyed anything DICE has made since the original Bad Company.
So what? If there's a market for something then why should anyone care if it gets filled, as long as it's not something illegal? You can dislike so-called "edge lord" games all you want (in fact, you can like or dislike whatever you want, full stop) but even if games like Hatred are just trying to take advantage of anti-SJW backlash to make a quick buck, the fact that they exist at all is important in a culture that's becoming increasingly puritan and censorship orientat...
Never. I can tell if I like something within an hour or two most times, unless the game pulls a BS twist that I hate or has a shitty ending.
If that's the case it worked. I didn't even know there was a Duke Nukem 20th Anniversary thing coming out until I read this.
At least GG was still relevant in 2015. Schafer's puppet thing was a total embarrassment, but his timing was sort of on point.
Is this guy so butthurt about GG that he had to do this a year after GG has been at all relevant? Or is this just another, "no one likes my terrible games so I'm gonna pretend gamers hate me because of my awful politics and not my awful games and business practices"? I honestly can't think of another reason for anyone to try calling out GamerGate in 20-freaking-16.
Neither one is "worse" because neither one is bad. It's fantasy. It's fiction. It's *not real*.
Magnificently delayed to the end of the year?
To this day it's the game I compare every pirate game I play against.
People who play Destiny are burned in general.
No one's forgotten about Megaman Legends besides Capcom, and they only forgot about it because they don't like to dwell on their murder victims.
So, as much as I loathe console war crap, I do wanna say how much I love the same Sony fanboys who constantly go on about how underpowered the Xbox One is compared to the PS4 and how that's why the PS4 is "winning" are now trying to say that specs don't matter because the Scorpio has better hardware. Shame is overrated, right guys?
