It means that you wont get credit for games that you have already beaten, the system will be active with your new forward progress, not backward progress.
I'm seeing the reasoning is so that you just couldn't load old saves from people online, and gain trophies for things you haven't done yet. To stop cheating.
The 360's hardware is what everyone says is out dated, because it is. It, just like a PC with the same specs from 2005, is out paced by newer processor designs. Thats why Mass Effect can't stream load. The 360 has performance problems with its exclusive titles, the PS3 has problems with badly ported 360 titles.
The XBL features are common sense features, and great. No one would call XBL out-dated. Just all of the hardware features:
-hdd
-wifi
-headset

Its registered by the ps3's serial #. Not by account name. When you have problems with PSn and call sony, they ask for that. Not your psn name.

I and many other people play my pc games in the media room, on a 116" projection from my couch with kb/mouse or the 360 controller. Maybe everyone doesn't have an HD projector. But im sure most technogeeks have it hooked up to their tv's.
Lets stop pretending you have to be hunched over a tiny screen to play PC games. Can we do that? Sure. Broke gamers are doing that, but broke gamers also cant afford big HDTV's that make playing games worth it either. So it can go both ways...

Gta4 is a flop either way. The only people that are having fun with it, are people that are forcing themselves through the repetitive feature lacking game.

not enough time to improve the games mediocre look/game design. If they didn't h ype it up. No one would care, and this game would just be given a decent pass.
But once its hyped up to compete with the likes of a Final Fantasy, then this gameplay surfaces. Its Haze all over again.
But like Haze, the impact this title will have on the community will really be a drop in the bucket if MS announces some decent titles @ E3. If not, it will be a moral loss for the dev/ms's...
