I'm not shocked to see it getting mixed reviews. It's a game that belongs in 1995 but I certainly don't see that as a negative. Although the price point might be the hardest selling point for me. This is where the Target buy 2 get one free deal comes in handy!

here's the problem with sticking your jack-of-all-trades product into every market: It doesn't excel at any one particular thing.
games per console will suffer because a lot of non-gamers will purchase it.
On the services side it can't compete with $50-$100 products that essentially do the same stuff (granted--with a remote GASP!)
So in the end you're left with an aimless product, directed at everyone with no real target audi...

When you say you'll use it for streaming games, do you mean so you can stream a video of yourself? Or do you have to have the camera to stream games period? I genuinely don't know and am curious.

"The competition is real..." I would hardly call Live 14 "competition" to 2K14. It almost HELPS 2k14 because you get to see just how terrible it would be if EA Sports had an exclusive deal with NBA like they do with NFL. Thank you, 2K.
These articles need to go away. People NOT adopting consoles early on lead to situations like the Wii-U where people don't buy and then publishers claim they shouldn't make games for the system because no one is buying it. Then gamers come back with "ill buy one when publishers make games."
It has to start somewhere and it starts with US buying new consoles so publishers will see them as a viable option.
