the same price as a 5980 and half the power... fail

It's been out like 2 effing days and people are already complaining about the number of games... it'll get there fools... to hold you over I hear Hydro Thunder is going to be on XBLA...
What effing system is he playing...oh my bad... a Wii... just in the last 3 months we had Mass Effect 2 and GoW3... not to mention Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2, and FF13... add in some Metro 2033 and the upcomming Splinter Cell, Alan Wake, and Crackdown 2 and we have so much quality is comming out our ears.
there are Halo 2 players still playing on the original Xbox who have just gotten beta invites to Reach and will no longer be able to play Halo 2 (for now don't doubt a remake). Reach is different enough that it's garnered interest outside of the Halo fandom... while I agree that it wont be a big system seller it'll shift and extra 20-50k units easy. Bungie is known for doing their MP right

it's that they haven't got any to restock normal sales.. I haven't seen a new PS3 come off the truck in my walmart (I unload the things btw) in two weeks.
you better hope that Europe sucks up a bunch of PS3's from now till launch cause US PS3 owners seem to hate PS3 exclusives

did any of the amazing looking games get the PS2 users to buy Xbox 1? The difference in graphical power then is far greater than it is now.
The difference is 6+ million and you take out the 3.5 in japan for 99 percent of wester developers and it's over 9 million. So when Valve looks at the difference it's 9 million... when Activision looks at the difference it's 9 million. A great deal of Sony's catching up was in Japan where they did phenominal numbers over the holidays They shrank the wester gap some, but not by nearly as much.
a PS3 investment would cost a great deal of money... if Sony drops the Cell for the next system I don't think there will be any problems
They make money hand over fist and their profit margins are fine on the PC and 360... if they make a game for the PS3 it's going to be a good will gesture
Well most of the big developers are not owned by sony... in fact Sony only has one mega franchise and that one has been dieing down slowly over the last 10 years... GT... 1 mega franchise... 17 studios... see there is always a way to view it half empty
