he got way over excited... it's just how he is... he's starting to curb his enthusiasm a bit and I think that hopefully we'll see him take a more professional approach like his last article (vidical)
imagine a melee using your elbow or 3D Head Tracking especially when playing and FPS and looking out a window or peeking out a corner
this game is perfect for a hybrid... giving silent commands using standard NATO signs
The 360 was built with that in mind... Procedually Generated content is the future of gaming... if they can't get the tech to work this industry will choke itself to death
I think moving away from what defined the Splinter Cell francise has hurt the reviews... negatives include... "not as stealthy as previous versions" wtf? Besides not being able to move bodies the game can be played completely stealthy and with min action
obviously his speach patterns grate on your nerves and he runs with stuff he should probably not considering the sources and how much push is behind an idea... alot of the stuff he says does make it to market and we do get to see it... some of it doesn't... he is sony biased... he'll play multiplatform games on his PS3 even if the 360 version is vastly superior, but he tries to keep the new equal even if he does occassionally go nuts over something like God of War. On another note his title ...
US 360>PS3 ~9.5mil
Jap PS3>360 4 mil
The real battle ground... Europe... they are nearly dead even and that's where the fight will be won or lost... unless sony dies in the US because Microsoft hasn't made any real head room in Japan... though they are better then the Xbox 1
but even with the RROD they still made a profit...
however he takes into account the 299 rush for average sales data and you can't account for that... as for the viability of VGChartz... they have sources in Walmart as well as most major retailers around the world... their numbers are pretty accurate and they correct any errors once they find them... ioi doesn't skew numbers out of personal preference and all numbers are sold to customers
it's a grade on the game as a whole... though I think lowering the presentation for breaking up the combat with the Iraq level is a bit picky it's really something he felt was a negative... I think this is a case where I'd like to see the SP and MP score separated and he didn't go into detail over the co-op which is suppose to be a great deal more difficult
it's a stealth game with a bit of action... did you play the demo... you try to run and gun in that first room?
however the Co-op is always what got me excited and I'll likely play through the game a little slower than most... what saddens me the most is not being able to interrogate everyone like in CT.
I don't know why anyone would compare this to GoW
don't go a trash my memories jerks! Telling me how one of my favorite games could have easily be my favorite game except no one at Ubisoft knew how to build that type of game... *sigh*
The remake has been done for a long time now... it sits in Rare's vault because Nintendo is full of pricks
it is a downloadable title
his titles generally get him to the top like this... though I wish his title were more informative
look people disagree with truth... Microsoft generally doesn't wait till the last minute to advertise for their huge releases
if you watched the video you would know that those were someone elses words... hell if you kept up with news at all you would know this... he talks in lengths about why this is wrong
what is strange is that they didn't ride the hype... if someone conjures up some hype for some unknown game... hell the crap doesn't even have to be started you don't come out and say someone "over exaggerated" you come out and say... "yeah we got stuff in the pipe that is going to blow your mind"
