I do worry about the lack of innovation for this new generation. I hope Microsoft can come up with something different as a replacement. Or at least push developers to start coming out with great kinect games and apps that people genuinely love in order to uphold sales and move the gaming community forward. The playstation move was also a peripheral and I have not heard one bit about any new plans or games for it. I do wonder if maybe Microsoft decided to let it go after the sales of kinect s...
THANK GOD!!!! That was the most annoying thing. It detracted from scary games like Outlast because I play in the dark, and maybe because I have a slight case of A.D.D lol. Maybe they'll let you dim the light strip on the ps4 one day, although that is not nearly as annoying for me. I prefer the low profile of the XB1 for that reason, the small white button on the console doesn't detract from anything, but even the white light on the kinect bothers me a bit due to the fact that it sits ...
@ medman
You should tell all those people you know that the Xbox One has an auto-off feature after an hour if that is such a common reoccurrence. It's a great energy saver, just giving you a heads up.
HBO GO!!!!
That looks pretty cool
Yeah thanks man. I went to the midnight release party at Gamestop, went to work and was all hyped to play some Titanfall. I made it through the tutorial but as soon as I tried to play a multiplayer game with my buddy, Xbox Live gave me a messages telling me to try again in a few minutes. Hope you're enjoying the game though, hopefully things get settled soon so I can have just as much fun.
I don't know who you talked to that stated Xbox Live never has issues in the history of the online service but that's not the case. Unless you're just being sarcastic but I wouldn't take one event and make it seem as if Xbox Live is any less great as it is. The argument was probably that in comparison to other online gaming services Xbox Live is the most stable. In fact, I don't remember there even being a hiccup on Launch day which is pretty impressive. I would like to se...
Yeah I'm definitely having issues with Xbox Live right now, I haven't been able to sign on for about 30 minutes. I don't care about the reason as much as I just want the issue resolved so I can play Titanfall. I didn't go to the midnight release at gamestop for nothing lol.
I'm sure it's not affecting everyone obviously but it sucks if you're one of the people it is causing trouble for.
And sadly I'm getting disagrees already...
Wait...This is what everyone was arguing about? And we're still on about this? The fact that we have to have sliders to see the difference in graphical quality in screenshot should tell us something about how small of a difference there is between the two. There's no "hands down" winner here. Enjoy the game if you own it. These wars and flame bait articles are long past ridiculous.
@Gamer2013
Don't downplay Killzone: SF, I hear it's actually a pretty fun game. Not to mention gorgeous. And there are other games to play on the PS4 with more to come.
@Whathappened
Well man this video was obviously a joke, but I found a chart for you to review since you are bringing up software sales being higher on the PS3 due to the Xbox 360 having no games other than a few exclusives. The chart was last updated earlier in January. Hope it is useful for you.

Okay that was just funny. I hope some people can have a sense of humor with this one lol.

"What games right now make the Kinect a worthwile inclusion to the box? Crickets..."
Sorry man I just saw your post. I posted this same link in my reply to Yodagamer, it shows some of the Kinect 2 Funtionality with games on the Xbox One so feel free to check it out.

@ Yodagamer
I understand but at the same time I disagree when you say that very few people want the Kinect included in the box. The Sales numbers that Microsoft has say otherwise. Like I said, both systems are selling very well at the moment.
You are correct about the PS3 being the cheapest Blu Ray player at the time but we can't forget that
a) It was 200 dollars more than the premium Xbox 360 when it launched and
b) It was sti...
I'm not saying the amount of money they invested for upcoming games isn't great, in fact it's awesome. I will say that the general concern gamers who like the Xbox brand have is that they are using the money to invest in DLC and early exclusivity rather than true investments in new IP's and 1st party exclusives.
I think it stems from the track record Microsoft's Xbox division has with the Xbox 360...Great games and exclusives in the first few years and t...
I don't understand the arguments here.
1. The Kinect 2 for the Xbox One is a great piece of technology that most Xbox One owners enjoy to have included with the system. Implying that it is a worthless piece of junk is just false, this is obvious to those who use it on a daily basis. There can definitely be more functionality with games but it's 3 months into the console's lifespan and there are plenty of updates to come that will indeed enhance the performance eve...
Well I hope the show is successful nonetheless, it never hurts to have another funny show to watch. Don't personally see anything wrong with a show coming out on the Xbox One early...Someone left a comment above me that tried to compare Microsoft's business deal to the monopolization of industries that was one of the main contributors to the Great Depression...No. It's a business deal and if a company decides to partner up with another company that has a good product that's pe...
@ Staticdash22
Man you've really gotta learn how to not stereotype all people based upon the reactions of a minority. I read the review and thought it was very detailed and informative. I'm still getting an Xbox One come Friday regardless :-).
We should keep in mind that these consoles will go through some drastic changes in the course of their lifespan. That's what makes these reviews so pointless (to a point). They don't take into account wh...
@MRMagoo123
I don't think his point was that it doesn't matter, because it definitely does. He was trying to make a point that it wasn't the ONLY thing that matters. And you're right, when the Xbox 360 had better multi platform games due to its ease of development there were people who used it as ammunition to discredit another group of gamers. It was stupid. It sounds like you and I both agree on that.
At the same time I don't think we sh...
Always good to hear, I'm loving these monthly updates for the Xbox. I'm not seeing any downside lol. I just wish they would bring back the ability to hear game chat through both your speakers and through your headset. But great job Microsoft, keep the updates coming
