@EoRdE6
Okay, thanks for your constructive comment. It was very conducive to the article. I'll remember that for next time
Most likely yes. I'm sure Microsoft would've wanted to avoid the bad publicity in regards to the Xbox One's capabilities by introducing Xbox at the same time as the release of Direct X 12 and Windows 10. The Xbox One was obviously meant to be incorporated in the Windows 10, DX12 and Halolens ecosystem, but they could not risk giving Sony a year lead in market share.
I'm not one for rumors and speculation when it comes to console gaming, but if what I heard on ...
You can't complain about this, I'm glad Microsoft is constantly tweaking and updating the system. It shows they really are paying attention.
I would've definitely had Smackdown: Just Bring it on the PS2 put on that list.
@pompous
"@the pope. Sorry dude, but the ps4 sales were retailer sales independent from Sony. MS was a company wide price cut plus giveaways and not a sale a retailer did to draw more customers. But nice try though.. "
So why does is matter if both outcomes were the same? If both systems ended up being cheaper with games included in the bundle, why would a customer care if it was the console's company or game retailer who implemented the price cut?...
Yeah, I just noticed my Xbox live is having issues as well. Everything from gaming to Hulu Plus is offline except for my Netflix. I don't get the enjoyment out of this.
@ Cindy-rella
How is someone stating that Microsoft has the financial backing to keep advancing the Xbox brand an unbelievable statement?
"With all this money Microsoft supposedly has to throw away, why dont they have way more first party studios with way more exclusive titles in the works?"
There have been many articles stating that Microsoft is investing in more first party studios and no one knows exactly how many exclusive Xbox ...
I wish they would bring back 2v2 so my buddy and I can play together with more strategy.
Halo:MCC worked great for me last night, I only had an issue once and had to restart the game.
I'm happy they are fixing these problems now but I just hope these developers start taking note and stop releasing broken games while expecting us to keep investing in them. Gaming is an expensive hobby so I want my games to work as they should from the beginning lol
@captainobvious878
I know multiplatform games generally perform better on the PS4 and I haven't fooled myself into thinking otherwise, but the majority of my friends along with other causal gamers have a hard time discerning between 900p and 1080p. Depending on who you ask, that is a very negligible difference for the vast majority of gamers which happen to be causal gamers.
As far as what Microsoft tried to do to your hobby, I'm sure you remember the...
If these consoles are only about gaming as some people say on this site, it's becoming less and less apparent why the PS4 is outselling the Xbox One at this point other than pure bias or misinformation about the policies that were reverted over a year ago.
Games are on par quality wise and have been for a while, plenty of supported apps, the controversial Kinect is optional now, and it's at $350 for the kinectless version.
I'm not by any means say...
@Foehammer
Why would anyone complain about Destiny's matchmaking? I haven't heard any complaints on that from my friends who actually own the game.
I love Halo: MCC and the online play is getting more stable but this shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. It's becoming a trend with new games and I'm done making excuses for it. I'm not paying 60 dollars for half a game.
They really need to work on the ongoing...
I'm pretty sure this wasn't meant to be taken seriously...
Good to hear they worked hard to deliver a solid looking game on all platforms. Seems like the graphical differences are minor overall, according to the article.
FINALLY!!! Ive been waiting for this day lol.
I officially have no reason to leave my man cave.
Yeah...I can't say I notice any severe downgrade from 1360x1080 vs.1920x1080. I honestly can't tell you when the game changes between the two resolutions for the Xbox One. I wonder if there are really people out there that feel as if they don't enjoy the game due to this difference but I hope not. I am really enjoying this game so far, it looks great in comparison to COD:Ghosts. Most of my efforts have been on the single player campaign and it's very exciting. As soon as I'...
That's simply amazing. I can only imagine the possibilities and how this could be applied to gaming. Too bad it probably won't see the light of day due to the amount of hardware needed for this to work though. You gotta love innovation.
They just keep on coming. I've been really impressed with the quality level of games being released on the Xbox One. If a game console's purpose is strictly gaming as some on here believe, there's really not much reason to keep writing off this system nowadays.
Isn't it possible they were just using an older build for the demo? If not I hope they can fix the issue before launch.
Boner. How is Call of Duty: AW gonna manage on the Xbox One with the Halo: MCC coming out only a week later?
I would love them to bring back the option to play the psychedelic visuals they had for the OG Xbox and Xbox 360's music App...It's not a bad interface now, but I do get tired of watching the same 5 pictures of the artist rotating out after a while. I think the visualizer looked a lot cooler.
