Of course xbox live is better. Always was and probably always will be because MS is just plain better at technology software than sony and they(sony) knows this. They will always be playing cath up in that area because they just don't invest in technology the way MS does. This is one of the reason a corp like ms can make kinect come to life and sony chose a more hardware route with move.

All that but they can't accomplish something as simple as cross game chat. Xbox live is still the better service. yes, you have to pay but I would much rather pay and have it than to be stuck with just PSN. Live is just more unified and just plain better and...

Same thing was said about Sorcery and look what happened. At least Kinect has successful titles and is still used by 360 gamers regardless of how that game turned out. Move is basically dead because its getting no support from 1st or 3rd party devs. Kinect is still getting used in titles like Madden, Fifa and the upcoming Ryse. Kinect future is still bright while move is just fadin...
Sony had to make this move or there would of been some BC issues for ps3 next gen.

It doesn't matter. The Japanese industry is slowly dying anyway. Just look at how the west is beating them in game development. The Japanese are not as significant as they used to be.

Yea, but wait and see how this concept takes off. I remember people were laughing saying similar things about the wii and look what happened. Reggie and Nintendo laughed all the way to the bank and Sony and MS followed up with their own similar thing.

They must be something right. They have sold almost 70 million consoles and people are eagerly awaiting the next xbox. MS is thinking big and you don't get to be as successful as they are by one dimensional thinking. They are no. 1 globally for a reason.
The only thing wrong with kinect is that sony couldn't accomplish it.I had to laugh at the title of the articele though. I could say the same thing about move. Hardly no games have been developed outside of the launch games which weren't that great. Some of kinect games may not be great but at least the device is getting support with games as well as integration with with xbox live. And before all you fanboys start talking about games you can use with move...i'm not talking about...

why would google partner with a corp that is in financial trouble? Its not gonna happen. Sony doesn't bring anything to the table besides playstation. Even if they did it still would mean nothing as long as apple and MS still exist.
