The future of gaming is definitely digital. Sony is just taking these precautions which is a smart thing to do. MS has stated years ago that digital is the future. It looks like they may be correct. Time will tell.

Live is still the better service IMO. There are certain things it still does that psn has yet to match like having demos for every arcade and indie title and party chat for example. On live its so much easier to game with friends. There is also automated achievement sync, a universal complaint/reporting system, video chat with kinect, and web access to the marketplace to queue, purchase and download content. Everything is just so much smoother on live.
I think they all use money to influence sometimes. This is a competitive industry. Sony did it to Nintendo and Sega back in the day. I don't see this changing anytime soon either because whether anyone admits it or not, they're all in this to make money. That goes for the devs too.
Halo is gonna be huge. MS knows how to get the word out.
That goes for any exclusives published by sony or Microsoft. Any exclusive game can run on either console.

343 is full of talented developers. This Halo game may turn out to be the best so far. November 6 is gonna be a great day. A few weeks later will be killing day again with Hitman. Great year for xbox.

I've never paid more that 35 dollars at a time for my membership. You can always find discounts and deals. It's worth every penny too.

we've always know that the 360 was the most developer friendly. That explains why 99% of 3rd party titles turned out better on it. Sony screwed up with their architecture when you consider how much developer suffered with it at the beginning of this generation.
