You're correct. Xbox fans have been not getting anything "exclusive" for so long that they don't know how to control themselves when after mostly 2 entire generations they've gotten close to nothing.
They lack the ability to look at things critically.

If anything it seems to try to take the cyberpunk approach. So I'm actually really concerned for it since they didn't show anything specific or any long period of gameplay segments. It didn't show what the world would be like and how you fit in that world either
No not similar at all to what you're saying...this is similar to the generational drought we get from PlayStation every single generation. It happened with the PS4 as well.
The same setting isn't the issue. It's the level of detail in gameplay variation within that setting. They could really add much more depth to side content and handcraft the majority of missions.
Dramatically improving interactions with the world is what they need to focus on.

Exclusives still hold the same weight. MS exclusives stopped holding weight for years and years.
I personally only care about the games being good so it's not that exclusives hold weight...games do.
He is still wrong. Pointing out age makes no difference. You either receive wisdom or you don't. All age does is make you more stubborn and senile over time.
So to the point at hand. MS doesn't care about exclusives because their games don't sell on Xbox. There are tok few Xbox owners for their games to easily be successful.
Sony on the other hand...their games sell loads almost every time. They don't mind double dipping in the PC market ...
