He will do all he can to entice gamers to move to his ecosystem. As you say....exclusives existing hasn't moved many gamers over. But if they get to try them and love the games then they might change their mind about waiting 2 years.

You must have missed the free astro game they gave with the PS5...it literally looks and plays just like that buy bigger in scope.
The only way I would consider this is if it has enough variation in team objectives and good overarching plot.
If it innovates in the arena shooter and also adds PVE elements then they could have something pretty cool in their hands. Otherwise it is a no from me.
And of course...mtx and crappy mentization methods is another big NO
There's nothing inherently wrong with a multiplayer only game....but for fucks sake don't make me have to pay more. If they got those shitty mtx out then it would be fine. Release big dlcs every year or so...but instead these gaas oriented constipated individuals had to push monetization where it is easiest...online multiplayer games were the target.

Basically you're functioning under the assumption that PC players are impatient, rich and stupid.
Most will not budge. But if the hype is real enough they'll get a few. But those few won't actually be invested in the platform.

Why would you get down votes? Very few exclusives from 1st party. They've also moved many of its games to PC making it less needed...
You're not wrong. The quality of their games is still great though. Returnal and demons souls mark the early start of this generation for me but since then there hasn't been much else that has really stuck with me.
I only see one blind guy because to suggest anything less than $40 is really special.
The free game they released at launch could have been $20
