I'll wait for reviews as always but I'd say being better than diablo is like being better than a turd...not that hard.
What if the same had been said when the first 3d game came out? That's just nonsense. If this game is great then other games should try to match it and be just as great in their own endeavors within the game.
Of course they won't need to match it.
It'll just be a worse game than baldurs gate 3 that's all.
Besides we all know this is just an excuse for other less talented devs. Or for the devs to busy trying to ruin fun by adding mtx and following trends.
That's the end goal. It will cheapen all their games making them no different than the problem they've had before. So when that happens people will still be ignoring most of their games, looking for other great 3rd party and MS will still be focusing on adding some of those.
Sony seems to offer older games from the past 12-24 months that many haven't been added to gamepass.

It looks like gamepass will focus on a lot of day 1 deals while ps extra will focus on great games released in the last 12 or so months. Gamepass tends to focus in day 1 and ignore most others.
Finally. Blizzard is finally doing some good by banning players from playing their awful game. They did these guys a favor.
As far as if it's justified...well it's not players fault blizzard left exploits in their game.

Nah...elden ring open world is nice at first but not so nice after 1 or 2 sections of it.
Repeated dungeons, etc. Great game and combat like all fromsoft games but some clear flaws later on in the game.
Haven't played bladurs gate to the end yet so not saying one is better than the other by any means. This isn't a pissing contest between great games. And if it is...then that's a nice piss to have.

Many games that release take money from pre orders way before the game is finished.

Those games are irrelevant. No man's sky is used as a tool to make claims as if this game is now suddenly great just like no man's sky. Only time I see no man's sky mentioned is when it's in relation to a crappy game at launch.
Those games had their time tk shine. Whether or not 5heyre good now doesn't stop them from being irrelevant today.
The campaign is horrible. The multiplayer was the best part but with little content.
