Well...what it truly is is a lack of dedication to one choice. They knew they wanted 3rd person but they also know that they specialize in 1st person.
Yes...it doesn't fit. But machine games Wolfenstein games are good. If anything it'll be a good 1st person action game. May not give you the Indiana Jones immersion as a 3rd person would but I'm sure it'll be serviceable.

Dude I've got 50+ thousand Microsoft rewards points to get the Gamepass for PC 1 month for free...I do one month at a time so yeah...right now I pretty much have 6 or so free games guaranteed. More if you count anything else released in between those big release moments.

The point is pretty simple. PlayStation wasn't praised for simply having lineups of games. That's where you have it completely wrong.
They were praised for quality releases. It's really dumb to get excited over a lineup from a company with no or horrible track record.
When the games release and they're actually good then they'll get the praise from me....same goes for Nintendo or playstation.

Sony has done that consistently but Microsoft never has....so yeah he's comparing Xbox quality to 3rd party which is normally superior to Xbox 1st party quality.
PC is a platform. Not necessarily windows. Not like steam deck runs windows
