Same boat ..but I wait for the kids to go to sleep.
@crazycoconuts
Me neither but his reasoning was so flawed I had to say it.
Uhuh. Yes just like crackdown 3
Dont know why they keep listing ultimate. Gamepass is the better value....but the reason I think is that ultimate includes online gwg.
I'm actually thinking it'll be closer to destiny in design. Hub area with npc missions etc and big open world to do those things in. Screams destiny to me.
When you buy the biggest 3rd party publishers....that's monopolistic and anti competitive. An actual monopoly doesn't happen with 1 deal either. You become a monopoly through a series of different deals and purchases.
@orchard
Just refresh n4g homepage. That new article is his source im sure.
@sully
Ellie from the last of us part 1 is not into girls though. It was with left behind dlc that they decided to go that route.
Not to mention its a little gross for a grown man to be thinking of lesbian 12 yr olds. Left behind arguably doesn't prove she is a lesbian either. Ellie kissing a beloved friend doesn't scream lesbian to me. Girls tend to be far more affectionate anyways.
And yet...he only thinks there is....shows how incapable this guy is when it comes to storytelling.
It wasn't worth it.
But of course people forget about this acquisition. Sony's isn't in the business of taking historically multiplatform games and making them exclusive to their platform.
@lifexline
Someone buying a Lamborghini has absolutely no effect on you.
MS buying up the industry is monopolization. It affects somebody. Also potential somebody's.
@jeece
Actually...early 2000s games had unlockables instead of MTX. They had challenges and secrets behind overcoming certain challenges or completing levels in certain ways...thinking of perfect dark in N64 here....there was also timesplitters multiplayer with all the characters to choose from...
Unlockables have been a part of gaming for a long time. They simply placed them all behind a pay wall. Those unlockables were the progression. Then afterwards g...
And toast
I can go anywhere...but there's nowhere interesting to go.
Deep physics? So you gave me tools to play with...but not much to use it against.
Discovery as core mechanic...but nothing to discover...
No thanks
So you want a game that does everything...basically bend over backwards for traversal options ...how does that make an open world good exactly?
No real dungeons, no enemy variety, but combat design.
Sure you have creative tools, sure there is this freedom thing but all of that is pointless if i don't enjoy the package.
Breath of the wild is the 1st Zelda i didn't beat.
Here are some tools and go have fun isn't good open world game design for me. I don't find that very engaging....especially you don't need 90% of it for the game.
Guess you didn't 100% it
Main bosses don't repeat...but there's a ton of mini bosses and the whole appeal of the open world is finding this bosses...those bosses repeat like crazy.
At this point don't think they even know the game exists.
Completely irrelevant. It remains unmatched because it had all the 3rd party support AND the only meaningful exclusives....if ms goes around buying all the 3rd party then that can change things.
Let's look at all the devs that used to make games for playstation on a very regular basis. iDtech, arkane, ninja theory, Bethesda, tequila works or whoever it is that does the evil within games. Now with the activlizard purchase you can add blizzard, and cod devs.
