Yeah, you can definitely see the graphics jump between GT5: Prologue and GT5. GT5 just looks more realistic hands down. The Forza cars look like they're plastic toy car models and the reflection/lighting makes the cars look too shiny and unrealistic.
Yes, I hope Square Enix includes the Japanese language track. It's always good to have a choice. Like I've always said, from what I heard the English voice work is good so far, but it's still not Maaya Sakamoto (Lightning's character) good.
It says at the bottom of the link that it's going to be released this year. Although I'm not sure if its only releasing in Japan in 2009. And yeah, the graphics improved quite a lot. They really shouldn't of shown the game that early when they announced it.
I hope they don't pull a Konami with this countdown getting extended with multiple countdowns until Tokyo Game Show.
I agree. Console Monster Hunter games just aren't as popular as their portable counterparts.
The second important factor for why Microsoft won't buy a Monster Hunter exclusive is that the game is ONLY popular in Japan. Whereas, the other games that went multiplatform mentioned in the article are popular worldwide. It just doesn't justify the amount of cash that MS has to lay down for one territory.
Well to be nominated for GT's awards the game had to be playable at the show. So a lot of games were automatically eliminated.

Japan is in a different time zone than Los Angeles. When the countdown ends in Japan (according to the NeoGAF post), it'll still be May 31th in Los Angeles. Although we won't have to wait for the countdown, just until May 30th (Japan time) when the latest issue of the PSP+PS3 edition of Famitsu goes on sale.

Relative to Battletoads, everything is easy.
You are legendary in my book if you can beat the Turbo Tunnel level on your first try. Never has a game infused me with such rage as Battletoads (Snake Pit is probably one of the most frustrating levels ever made!)!

English voice acting just doesn't compare to the original Japanese voices, especially with Maaya Sakamoto as Lightning in FFXIII. If you want another reason for SE to include Japanese voices, go play Star Ocean: The Last Hope and see how long you'll last until your ears bleed.
This might be Microsoft's attempt at making its own Wii Sports. Only time will tell.
What I meant was that the 360 version of FFXIII (i.e. ONLY the 360 version as in NOT INCLUDING the PS3 version) will be outsold by the 360 version of Mass Effect 2. And what I'm basing this on is that WRPGs sell better than JRPGs in the west this gen thus far, at least from the 360's point of view.
I'm currently playing this game and so far its great. I would love to see more DS support from Atlus for the Shin Megami Tensei series.
