Tomb Raider Legend was a good game. The only things it got knocked for was weak gun play and short length. Uncharted fixes that by adding more weapons, melee attacks as well as a cover system. Not to mention top notch graphics and a dynamic animation engine. But hey its just "dude raider" to simple people who see exotic locals, puzzles and platforming I guess.
But it does seems like mags are being unusually tough on PS3 games. Their professional reviewers and should be able to look beyond the company hype. Rate a game for what it is. Not mark it down for being hyped too much. I mean IGN gave Spiderman 3 a friggin' 6. And Heavenly Sword is only a 7? I dunno just doesn't seem right to me.
When I posted them I didn't know N4G would shrink the images so much. The effect is eliminating jaggies from the Mario pic and lost detail on the R & C pic.
comparing that to this. I mean it looks good for a wii game but ign needs to gain some perspective....

That 6.5 score was a joke. Shadowrun scored an average of 6.8 with the gaming media. Warhawk steps all over Shadowrun in just about every way possible and still give you a free bluetooth headset to boot. How in the hell could you score it less then Shadowrun and expect people to take you seriously? PSM should just fade away and die...
BTW I doubt those numbers will hold true. Even The Darkness sold over 100k copies on 360 the first week and 50k copies on ps3.
Hopefully they'll include co-op offline or online.
Was the first game to be released on both platforms. But this is the first simultaneous release I believe.

Just like they needed to fix the 360 when the RROD problem first arose. Unfortunately, they dont seem to be smart enough to realize this. They'll just wait for the fallout in a year or two and get more negative press...

If they just came out right away and fixed what they knew was their fault it would have never gotten this bad. Paying all that money for exclusives is probably killing them too. Dead Rising, Lost Planet, GTA content, Bioshock, Eternal Sonata and Ace Combat 6.
Since Sony seems to be the only ones capable of getting 1080p and 60fps out of the ps3 for sports games.
Too bad stupid management at Sega just about destroyed the company. Me and my friends still play powerstone 2 sometimes.
