Until I saw the US sales for Madden 2k8. So far 1.2 million for 360. 340k for PS3 and 94k for Wii. The Wii is being outsold by the PS3 version 3.5 to 1 even though its installed base is more then twice the size of the ps3 in the US. Lets face it no one wants to buy games for the Wii when its available on any other platform. So good for Nintendo since they make money on each console but they will never get strong 3rd party support. Not to mention any Dev that has clout doesn't want to wor...

Its a shame your blinded by your fanboyism. At this same time last year MS had only sold 2.7 million 360 units total in North America. More, yes but a lot more? Not really. The 360 as do all consoles sell a ton more during the Holiday season. With the added advantage of PC sales UT 3 will do fine even if it isn't on the 360.
And Hour of Victory was complete garbage. But Blacksite seems to be a solid shooter and UT3 will do very well.
I really like this series and i'm glad they decided to bring it to the next gen instead of the Wii
Its only natural that Sony drop the price of the 80 gb when the 60 gb is gone. The 80 gb is cheaper to make! EE chipset = $27 in savings when removed. Upgrading the harddrive from 60 gb to 80 gb = maybe $10. Net to Sony = $17. Hardly a move of desperation as this article tries to imply.
I dont see why Nintendo would cut shipments to their home country by 60%+ unless the demand for it was no longer there.
The headline was something like 360 drops below 4 digits in japan.
They hit a high of 110k units back during one week in July and sales have gone straight down since then. But yeah we'll just have to see if this is the first sign of Nintendo's house of cards crumbling or something else.
They went below 900 units last year right before the holiday season. Then Blue Dragon gave it a bump.
