PS3 may not catch Wii... BUT it still has a potential to sell over 100 mln. units LTD.
Come on, PS3 is only 50$ more, than a Wii. Every GAMER now should buy it.

But for now, we can thank M$ for this...
You can`t expect to run a game on a multiplatform engine as good as on optimized for one specific platform engine...
However, let`s wait for the FINAL build, though Square become cheap company, they still are known for a HIGH quality graphics. =)
So, i doubt we will see GT5 this year,
spring 2010 is more Realistic.
You people try to understand, that cheapest PS3 model cost 400$ already for almost 2 years!
Also, you should know, that PS3 already surpassed total GameCube sales, which after 2 years cost 99$.
It`s now a matter of 299$ price, slim version and FFXIII/GT5 releases.
Everything will change, and probably by the end of This year we will see a lot of x360 doom threads.

p.s. looking forward to 299$ PS3, FFXIII release in Japan and Gran Turismo 5 WW release. This will be a GREAT time for all Sony fans. =)
p.p.s. And the last thing, i know, that there will be time, when PS3 will cost 199$, and IF in this case you will ignore EXCLUSIVE PS3 games like GoW3, GT5, HR, U1/2, KZ2, LBP, MGS4, VC, DS, WKC, R&C, R1/2, M:PR, N:UNS, MLB09, HS, InF, Agent and ....,
then you are definitely a Sony Hater and NOT a GAMER.

Why 299$ price matter? Because 299$ is mass market price this gen.
Not to mention, that PS3 is still selling on PAR with 199-299$ costing x360.
Price difference in Europe is even bigger.
Come on, PS3 has really GREAT games already and is getting even more great ones like God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo 5, Agent, Ratchet:CiT, Team Ico game and many other AAA games.
PS3 is a MUST HAVE...

PS3 is ONLY 2,5 years on the market, and yet to reach 299$ price, not to mention 199$ price. =)
And in terms of games... so far, more and more great exclusive games are announced for PS3, than for any other home console.

WE all KNOW, that PS3 pricecut is coming within 1 year, and most likely to happen this autumn.
All what Dutka said is something like "We will stop eat, if sun won`t rise tomorrow".
Sony should say, "Then it will be their loss".
Activision is lucky, that today is economical recession, otherwise Sony would just sh1t on them.))
Sony will drop PS3 price, when they will be ready for that, not when some 3rd party company will ask for that. =)
Of`course, GT5P in 1080p looks gorgeous...
BUT, 720p is still an HD resolution,
and most 32" TV owners, won`t even see the difference between 1080p ands 720p,
while of`course when we talk about 46" and above...
But still, i prefer BETTER graphics over resolution.
Even CoD 4 was running at 600p, but does this stop people from buying this great game? No.
God of War 3 looks great today in 1080p(at some points like CGI), ...
It was the only way to do for M$, if they wanted to sell those models.
I mean, what advantages 399$ costing elite is having against PS3 slim at 299$?
Who in right mind would get 399$ costing x360 elite?
