That NPD does not track Walmart sales, they estimate them on sales pattern of other data in US.
NPD tracks 60% of US sales data, VGC only 5%. The rest are estimates on sales pattern.
So, that 99$ Walmart deal IS counted in these NPD sales.
Walmart one week 99$ deal and MW2 bundle after all had some effect on x360 sales.
Let`s see, what will save x360 in December. IMO, PS3 will be above x360 for sure.
Also, Wii numbers after pricecut doesn`t look THAT impressive to me anymore. Of`course it`s over 1M, but Wii now cost only 199$.
At 199$ PS3 would easy sell 1M on BF week alone.
For PS3.
And games like Heavy Rain, The Last Guardian, Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII Versus, AGENT are yet to come.
With good advertising.
Come on Sega, just advertise this game, like Sony did with Uncharted 2, and you will have your millions.
Though, March release is not the best time, they should have it done this holiday.
The faster we will get games, which are NOT limited by 6GB of DVD space.

Actually, x360 sales dropped in US by around 60% compared to last year`s, while PS3 sales rose by around 300%!

That`s why i like Sony, that`s why i like PS consoles, because of devs like him AND because Sony allows it`s developers to develope a game as long as it needed (Gran Turismo 5, The Last Guardian).

WW the game is over 1.5M already.
Demon Souls + Ratchet & Clank have legs and with time will reach 1M. And as far as i know, last Rare game, Banjoo also is having problems selling 1M.
NGS2 is a 1 years old remake, and 370k is a good number in before GoW 3.
EyePet again is casual game, which will have legs, and also will sell 1M in time.
Also, first Uncharted sold only 117k during first month in NA, and yet, it`s already a 1M seller in NA + the g...

Also, maybe you should try ps3 someday. I think, you will enjoy LBP, Uncharted 2 with your friends too.

Most high rated excluisves this year.
Best single player experience this gen - Uncharted 2.
And constantly outselling x360 since September.
The game does not become worse on 2nd week or 2nd day from release.
If the game is really good, eventually you will buy it.
The other thing, the earlier game is released, the earlier it will hit as greatest hit/platinum version. And that is a good thing for those, who can`t allow themselves to buy a 60+ euro costing game every month, especially during economical recession.
Sony is better to sell their wands bundled with PS3 Eye Toy for something like 30-40 pounds.
And start to bundle them with as many games as possible.
I mean, 50£ or even 30£. I would consider it as some threat to sales.
Btw, with Eeye Pet you can already experience some Natal features and even more. So, it`s not a fact, that Natal will be THAT succesful. It depends on games, BUT MS is sure to advertise Natal like 2nd coming. Time will tell, IF that upgra...
PS3 started outselling x360 and kicking it`s ass in ALL regions.
PS3 got most HIGH rated exclusives this year.
Uncharted 2 became a new standart for single player gaming experience.
And here, finally all xbot trolls crawled out, lol.
It`s a rare occasion, when you can see so many xbots, since PS3 will continue destroying x360 on all fronts.))

32 mln. PS3 owners by the end of 2009.
45 mln. PS3 owners by the end of 2010.
60 mln. PS3 owners by the end of 2011.
75 mln. PS3 owners by the end of 2012.
Anyway, there is always PC for Valve games, if anyone really cares THAT much.
BUT it`s really unhealthy nowdays for a 3rd party not to release a game on as many platforms as possible because of some lame excuses.
