I am no Nintendo fanboy believe me, but "power" has so little to do with it. Its how it is used that matters. Why are some multi plat games better on one system? It was maximized for that system then ported to the other. If a developer is dedicated and has the resources (and talent) they can work around contraints and come up with amazing things.

Yes this is true about the Xbox 360 but that same year the "Revolution" and the PS3 were announced giving them the 2 E3's cycle of advertising. I think people are confusing announced and demoed. PS3 was unplayable and everything was pre-rendered and the Revolution was nothing but videos as well. They were however "announced" to be in production.
What ever happened to a great conversation with different viewpoints? Everyone feels their opinion is "fact" and whatever they do not like is "bad" Blind loyalists are so irritating.
No one should want ANY game developer or publisher to fail. You should always want them to improve and offer a better product, but you should never wish them to not exist.

First off I want to note that I worked at GS a long time, and there is no love left there believe me. However no company closing stores is "good" or can be considered "no big deal" This does hurt the industry.
Now there will be retailers to pick up the slack, but many of the reasons people hate GS are why they do well with publishers. GS pushes reserves really hard and gets many people to purchase games because of the trade in system they have. I kno...
Capcom recently stated they are hiring more and more to return to "internal" development. They know the outsourcing they tried this generation has done more damage than good.

I saw a skype interview with her one time about the Maxim gamer girl contest she entered. She is indeed a gamer and surrounds herself with all sides of the industry not just "playin garms!" Oh and she is beautiful which doesn't hurt at all.
This game is awesome, and a great addition to the Sony library. I enjoy the Vita getting the digital love and after this Holiday the AAA should be flowing more regularly.

I am curious as to why this is all of a sudden a big deal. They haven't produced new copies of this game for quite some time, and the license has expired meaning they cannot produce anymore or "reprint" anymore copies without inking another deal. This is not a news story this happens all the time.

What is interesting to me about this article is that it was a possibility. Often you hear about the option not being on the table for technical reasons, and here GB is saying it was because of the 1st party devs and not because of the hardware. I wish they would allow it.
