Wether it was free or a demo is irregardless. If you got a free slurpee on 7/11 day and after taking your first sip the cashier takes it back, how would you feel?
A sad world we live in. I really hope the people at EA read forums like this or even their own and see people's disgust with them. Does their reputation not mean anything to them (also applies to Activision and Ubisoft)? Where is their pride?
Is that the case with PT? I thought I heard that if it's deleted you can't re-download it either.
That is why I love having my blu-rays and games on my shelf. Right where I can see them. They can't get away from me.
The thing with these types of media (example: VR or 3D) is that they need to have patience and be persistent in supporting it. Sometimes a product is not at it's best when it first comes out (think of the PS3's original playstation store compared to what it was like at the end of it's life cycle, big changes and improvements). Sometimes the technology hasn't quite caught up. I for one love 3D. Some call it a novelty, but I don't regard it as one. I do understand that it is...
Jak and Daxter or Ellie and Joel :)
Stop trying to make fetch happen!
The game does look gorgeous, but there are some pretty bad and flat textures every now and then.
This is incredible! I love the art style, looks just like the show. I love the battle system.
I like how each digimon game has been different over the years. Digimon World 1 had a great world and great gameplay. Digimon world 3 had a great story, such a big world, and so much to do in it. I haven't got a chance to play Re-digitize but it is similar in style to Digimon World 1. Cyber Sleuth seems like Digimon World 2. New Order seems like a combo of 1 and 3. Even back in ...
I agree. Also a lot of product names can confuse common people (PS Move, PS Now, PS Vue, Project Natal/Kinect), so them being as straight forward and simplistic as can be might be their strategy this time around.
I loved Okami! I want a sequel so bad (and I'm not talking about Okamiden for 3ds).
That game could have easily been 3 different games because of it's 3 acts. I loved how it basically told 3 different stories and tied it all together. The Orochi battle, Ninetails, the owls, and the fiery hog samurai thing were incredible. The final boss kicked my butt so much cause I was always on the brink of dying.
I loved how it put all of your skills and abilities to work...
I would say it depends on the game. There are games where boss fights feel out of place, and I feel that it is more so the case in shooter based games.
Boss battles work better in rpgs/action adventures games/hack-n-slash games/platformers. God of war, blood borne, dark souls, final fantasy, zelda, and sunset overdrive had great ones.
Frostbite engine might be impressive, but it's the developer who learns to harness the power of the engine.
Give the Uncharted/Naughty Dog engine to any other developer or a monkey, doesn't mean that they are going to churn out Uncharted quality games.
Those are what I call inept developers. They blame other things rather than their aptitude to make games. Its not all about having the most power, its also about efficiency.
Sometimes people are so stuck in their ways that they refuse to try something new. How long did it take to convince people the world was round?
A case could be made for DVD9 on the xbox 360 for retarding industry. But then it takes an experienced team like Rockstar to crank out GTA5 or o...
I hope they hold back details as much as possible, but still show enough to hype the game to consumers. I like how they did not torture us with a trailer, then wait 6 months to a year for gameplay. I liked that it was the first thing they showed. Complete surprise.
I also liked how Fallout 4 waited to be announced and now it's almost here. When a game is shown far too early and so much of it is shown, it makes me lose interest. Thats why I no longer care for MGS or FF15. ...
I'm a big art book collector so I'm definitely getting this. It is another way of re-living the game, story, characters and locations and sometimes learning new information. I do have my preferences on the layout of the pages and content. For instance I like full page shots and pages that use all of their space. What I don't like is when they have the same picture of a character in 20 different outfits. To date my favorite art books (including ones for movies) are Mad Max Fury Roa...
Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us did the perfect amount of revealing at their time. Enough to get an idea of what its like with enough mystery left. Uncharted 3 showed too much. From the jumbo plane, the cruise ship, the deserted desert town, and more. By the time it came out those parts still felt awesome to play, but I wish I hadn't seen them. The game still had many surprises tho.
The only thing I wonder is if revealing too much can impact reviews once it comes out. Whe...

I could go on and on in my head of all the possible twists and turns in the story. And even when I think I've figured it out, Naughty Dog will manage to surprise me.
As far as each title for the games, they are all a play on words to me.
DRAKE'S FORTUNE: Nathan's fortune or Francis' fortune.
AMONG THIEVES: Is Drake among the thieves or someone else.
DRAKE'S DECEPTION: Did someone deceive Drake or ...
I figured if it is a 12 hour adventure at max, then there are forty-eight 15 minute segments. I've already seen two 15 minute segments. So that equates to 4% of the game already revealed.
I need to learn self control. :)
Lots of factors to consider to determine if it is worth it and for everyone it's different importance. Quality. Story. Pacing. World size/level size. Fun factor. Creative and purposeful missions. Replayability. There should be a good balance.
There are some worlds that are huge but feel empty and boring and missions are rinse and repeat.
As long as the game makes a positive lasting impact on me it is worth it.
