Digimon all the way! Recently I skimmed through the first two seasons on netflix to refresh on the story. I forgot how good it was. The story was overarching and pretty deep. Each episode and the entire story had meaning. It was also much more mature. It focused on the relationships among the human characters, the relationship of the humans with the digimon, relationships of humans and digimon with other digimon in the digital world, dealt with grief, death, fear, loneliness, pride, insecurit...

This will be short lived. I honestly do not trust nintendo one bit, especially after the wii. Yes it sold lots, but nothing over the years of owning it interested me, besides Zelda. Sadly I hoped better games would come. Then they rode that success train with the WiiU and that ended up a complete failure.

Hey, nintendo, rather than try to be unique with your wiimote and touchscreen, how about you create a new franchise or a new character, you know one that we haven't s...

Back when Pokemon came out it was a kids game. Mainly kids played it and watched the show. You probably would have seen 90% kids playing and 10% adults.

Today most of those people playing are adults who were kids when it first came out. So the nostalgia is strong for them. I would guess now its 60-70% adult 30-40% kids.

All percentages are guesses, but it I probably am not far off.

This has got to be a joke. People are pathetic these days. Pay for a game so that you don't have to play it. HA!!!!!!!

People like you are why gaming has turned into crap in recent years. They accept everything without questioning it. People keep saying ohh its no big deal....and every time the companies try to see how much they can push and get away with.

Like a person above said, they barely did anything. Only updated the graphics. No work on making the engine, graphics, or gameplay, or writing the story, everything has just been sitting there done for them already. It's insulting to...

Shame on you Bethesda

Completely agree. Especially considering probably 70% who do buy it have already bought it before.

Definitely not. It's probably a great app for cities with great walking infrastructure, sidewalks, subways, and other public transportation. Places where everything is nearby; cities like NY, San Francisco, Tokyo, London. But those people there are already probably healthier. While in other American cities, these PokeStop sites are usually not that close by. So people are more likely to drive to these places or use the app while driving which could be dangerous for themselves and other dr...

To me it's sad how this console generation is over before it even started. Honestly, the thing I liked about consoles was that they were consoles. Everyone got a great experience. I never had a gaming pc myself, but would like to in the future. But I liked the two being distinct from each other.

I liked the game, but was slightly disappointed. Pro's for me included the gameplay, mechanics, more open spaces, the graphics, and locations. Con's included story and pacing issues. I guess I was not invested in the whole Avery story as much I was with El Dorado, Shangri-La, or Iram of the Pillars. Those seemed a lot more mysterious to me. I would have loved to see a different legend or legendary city with a deep dark secret or supernatural element, rather than a pirate treasure. He...

I'll agree that it was more dynamic relationship compared to previous ones in the series...but to me it still barely scratched the surface. More so I got tired of finally getting to her, for them to exchange eye contact and then she was gone again. Skyward Sword had the most simplistic drawn out story. I sat there playing for hours for nothing really to have happened in the plot.

I miss the complexity and the interaction of characters like Midna. I felt a connection wi...

Only thing I liked about Skyward Sword was the gameplay and the dungeons...Story, bosses, enemies all were horrible. Those red Bokoblins infuriated me...I hated seeing their fat dumb faces.

From what I have seen of the gameplay, mechanics of Link's tools, and the graphics are all great. But I am a but concerned. I still wish they would have gone with the tech demo concept. Or, if they still did it in this style that it had darker themes. Although beautiful and vibrant, ...

@Lynx

At least people get to play those games, while your elitist self complains about 30fps vs 60 fps and 1080p vs 4k vs whatever other resolution.

At least Playstation has iconic brands and characters, I cannot name a single character/mascot that represents PC gaming.

Their games and characters are so boring and life less. No personality. No uniqueness. I feel like it's a punishment and chore playing through their games, rather than playing it with intrigue and joy. The only game I'm looking forward to is South Park. But then again, their characters have been fleshed out since the late 90s thanks to Matt and Trey. Also Stick of Truth laid the foundation way before the publisher was even switched to Ubi.

One could also compare iRobot to this... but I think the key word is "premise" which sets more of a back drop or a theme. Almost the entirety of the "Story" we do not know...so the story could go in any which direction.

They'll announce whatever they want when it's ready. Just because something hasn't been announced doesn't mean they're not working on it. Besides, Rockstar has two development teams Rockstar North and San Diego.

Art style goes a long way. Just because games are getting closer to photorealism, doesn't make them better. Take Uncharted for instance, the game looks better and better with each installment, but it does carry a certain hint of art that distinguishes it from the rest and gives it personality.

I'll take art style over graphics any day of the week. Games with art styles also tend to age more gracefully than those that go for realism.

I don't mind a remaster being from the previous generation, but when the game just came out 1-2 years ago that kind of bugs me.

I'm fine with it as long as they are handled by another developer so that the original can focus on new games. Plus this gives a rising developer a shot to prove how well they can make it and improve on it while at the same time being a learning tool for themselves.
