The term "gameplay" is throwing lots of people off and upsetting them. In this case gameplay is more so the game in motion versus actual mechanics of combat. It wasn't long ago that Kojima started his new studio. A lot of things had to come together before anything could even be started. Im sure they dont want to show the gameplay mechanics off just yet because they're not 100%. And they dont want to show something that could end up being revamped later on.
Man the atmosphere is haunting. It really gets under a persons skin. The song fits perfectly.
With that being said I love the desolate environment. A lot like Shadow of the Colossus environment. Even though its a big empty environment, it never really feels empty. Compare that with many open world games that say theres so much to do but are completely empty and lifeless.
I would like a PS4 conference that starts before Microsoft, UBI, EA and Bethesda. For years it was always the last with Nintendo. But then again they have enough of their own material that they have up their sleeves. I liked how this conference dove deep into the gameplay of the major games.

I haven't heard of Monster Rancher in so long. I actually had the game on the PS1. I was so horrible at it.
That depends on the Digimon game. I think some digimon games have been better than pokemon games. Digimon World 1, 3 and CyberSleuth are incredible. 2 and 4 were horrible. Not sure about Dawn or Dusk. Digimon Adventure on the PSP actually followed the story of the first season ore longer. I wish I could get my hands on that game.

I played it Pokemon Go for 2 days, and will never play it again. So shallow.
This "game" is doing more harm than good. People getting robbed, stabbed or killed at pokestops. People wasting gas driving around town for absolutely nothing meaningful; polluting the world even further. Getting killed on accident. Falling of the edge of cliffs. Or probably kill themselves by driving and using the app or kill someone else.

Well guess what..they didn't have to make a game engine, design the art style and graphics, they didn't have to come up with gameplay, they didn't have to make a story. Everything they have already exists. The DLC already exists. The mods that other people made already exists.

It's not the game or games that people hate on, it's the practices these developers/publishers try to get away with. They keep pushing boundaries to see how much they can get away with, or how much they can screw gamers over before a large group notices.
I love turn based games. But I hate grinding and random battles. I like being able to see my enemy.
I recently started FF9 again and am loving the world and the story that was crafted. I wish FF games would go back to having different races in your party rather than all a group of humans. Thats why to me Vivi, Freya, Amarant, Quina and Eiko, and Zidane are so iconic. I would also appreciate a medieval style again.
