Sure hope that neither company has widespread issues with this. I'd like a nice smooth transition to next gen for everyone who plans to be an early adopter. Nothing is more of a piss off than being one of those people who jump on the new technology only to have their money flame out in short order.
I'm the same way. I have 3 PS4s to pick up and an Xbox One. I'm currently second guessing whether or not I should buy them this week and next but the kid in me really doesn't want to wait.
I don't think the the system is going to be as tough to get as many think. The futureshop near my house was saying they got way more systems than what they sold as preorder. They had 49 preorders and she had an additional 30 with no names attached to them

I agree with you. I have good tenure with a high GS and I didn't receive any of the emails offering free stuff. Am I disappointed? Sure, who wouldn't be? I'm not pissed about it. Instead, I just wait for next friday and pick up my PS4s, then the friday after, I pick up my Xbox One. Moving right along here.
Ya I'd also like to know your tenure and GS. I have 7 systems at my place, was a day one subscriber to XBL with the original Xbox, was a day one purchaser of the original Xbox and my total tenure is shy of 9yrs now with a GS of 74K.

Hmmm...I'm just shy of 75K GS and I have almost 9yrs of tenure (would have had the full 10 if I had highspeed internet when my wife and I moved a few yrs back so I took a little time off.
