the vitas memory cards probably use much of the same technology but wanted a proprietary design so that they could be the only ones selling them.
their fiscal plan relies on accessories for the vita. they wont be making any profit on the console and they are likely giving incentives (royalty removal) to 3rd party developers. there likely wont be much profit or anything coming from the vita hardware or the games, accessories are where they'll be trying to grab a few dollar...
they sure are announcing a lot of games, hopefully the vita release isnt too far off outside of japan. these games are making vita look very compelling
hopefully they do a combo pack type thing where they put both in the package and have the save files transfer between vita and ps3 so you can play your game on ps3 if youre at home or vita if youre on a train or something.

i would think nintendo would be number 1, they havnt really been focusing on new ips for a long time, just reusing old ips that are already 20 years old.
sure cod is milked, but its nothing compared to the way nintendo milks their ips.

i doubt that they'll release all these games on launch day. they'll probably spread them out a bit. this is too many good games for a single day. some might not get bought as much as others because there are so many good ones coming, if they spread them out and give them each their own launch day they'll probably get more sales.
i had an iphone for a long time, recently just switched to android.
omg, i didnt know that browsing on a mobile could be so easy. i havnt had much of an experience with different phones, ive only used iphones until now, the difference is insane. i just thought that mobile platforms couldnt do it until i got an android, its so much better than my old phones.
with that said i doubt ill be using the vitas browser much, ill probably always have my phone with me ....
wow, some great games coming for this. when it was first announced i thought ruin and uncharted made for an awesome launch lineup, but thats nothing compared to what have been shown so far. the last two weeks have been full of psv games that would be awesome.

if nintendo starts getting more games i would consider getting one of their consoles though, i have nothing against them, just dont care for the majority of the games they get though :/
ffv13 is coming lol, theyre just releasing games in a logical order. 13-2 will probably sell more if they have it coming out closer to when 13 released. if they release both v13 and 13-2 at the same time than they'll probably both suffer lower sales than if they release them at separate times also.

i still play when i have free time. its actually the only fps that i play, i feel that its the best one on the market atm.
chrome has an awesome adblock extension, you can pretty much decide which ad types you want to see. i block all the ads like this like and leave the non-intrusive ads so that i can support the website.

false, nintendo hasnt added anything that they didnt anticipate being on the 3ds. they knew they wanted music on the 3ds, but they didnt take music into account when considering ram? thats bad engineering.
sony didnt anticipate cross game chat, so they didnt include it in their initial needs, hence they dont ahve enough ram for it. surely there will be things that nintendo will want to add down the road, but its too early for that now, its been out for less than a year.
the ps3 has been the best selling console for a long time, the price cut added like 75% more sales in the first week. ps3 would have continued to be the best selling console for the foreseeable future without the price cut, with the price cut its been selling very well.
a second analog stick for the 3ds would be a disaster lol, nintendo hasnt sold many 3ds' and if they're planning on relaunching the 3ds with a feature that will (pretty much) be required all the models sold so far will be junk.
not only are nintendo early adapters getting stuck with a high price after nintendos embarrassing price drop like 7 months after released, but they also have to buy a new model to play new games because theyre revising their hardware?

the 3ds hardware capabilities are about what the psps are, if thats not last gen then what is?
the 3ds' graphics card has 133mhz of power behind it, the psp graphics card has 166mhz.
the 3ds uses a 2x 266mhz processor, the psp uses a 333mhz processor.
the 3ds just cant push much more onto the screen than the psp can. the visuals of both the psp and 3ds are pretty much the same.
