The biggest problem is the inability to communicate with players that aren't already your friends.
If you are looking for someone to play a Raid with, you have to go out to the playstation menu and send a message to someone that way. There is no open line of communication with other players to organize anything.
That is a big complaint for players. Its an MMO-Style game, yet they make it very hard to team up with people unless you already know them.
No i'm not defending that at all. Raids absolutely should not be able to be done solo.
I think you misunderstood my post, which is weird because i said right in the beginning that Destiny has flaws, and that Dark Below definitely leaves a lot to be desired. So I'm clearly not some blind fanboy if i'm recognizing that its not a perfect game.
The entire point i was trying to make is if people are going to be game reviewers, they should at least ...
I have to question this guy's review. He doesn't seem to know much about the expansion. I've been a supporter of Destiny since day one, despite its flaws (which are definitely there). And I agree, The Dark Below does leave a lot to be desired, but he could at least get his facts straight if he's going to do a review.
1. Ascendant Materials are absolutely not useless. You still need them to upgrade your new legendary armor and weapons. Gaining new armor is a mu...
I think people are still playing it because, despite the valid complaints, the core gameplay is extremely fun, especially if you a friend or two to play with.
I know thats the reason I still play. I've got enough good guns and armor. Getting more is scondary at this point. I just enjoy the gameplay.
No to mention, few console games offer such a good co-op experience. If there is one thing that Destiny truly succeeded at, its the co-op aspect, as it i...
What a stupid idea. Shaq-Fu anyone?
Yeah, but you have to think down the road. There may not be demanding now, but collectors will want them as they become more rare.
Hell, some of the worst NES and Atari games are now huge collectors items even though they were terrible games back in the day and no one wanted them.
Most games have certain MODES that require online to play multiplayer, but many of those games also have single player content that does not require you to be online.
CoD, BF4, Diablo 3, Wolfenstein, Dragon Age Inquisition....there are TONS of games this gen that you can play without being online. In fact, the only two I can think of off the top of my head are Destiny and Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn. There might be one or two others, but for the most part, games have an of...
That isn't true at all. Most games have certain modes that require online to play multiplayer, but many of those games also have single player content that does not require you to be online.

I haven't been following these things too closely, but I read a rumor that they might stop making the statues and instead making character cards? Is that true?
I also keep reading about these things getting discontinued. If so, these Amiibo statues are going to be HUGE collector's items, i would have to think.
Or am I just way off base? Like I said, I haven't been following these things too closely so I apologize if I'm way wrong.
Game stores usually don't run out of copies anymore BECAUSE of pre-orders. Stores have a much better idea of how many copies they will need to order when they already have a good idea of a large number of people that are going to buy the game.
When I think back to just around the time when pre-ordering was coming on to the scene, I can remember games selling out all the time. Soulcalibur 2, Ninja Gaiden, etc.
Also, most stores don't charge anythi...
I agree to extent. Be I down for a couple days is unacceptable. But you have to think about what day this happened. It was Christmas. Most businesses are closed, and even the ones that are open at operating with a skeleton crew. That's why it took so long to fix, i'm willing to bet.
When you look back to August when similar DDoS attacks were happening, MS and Sony bith recovered much faster.
I'm guessing thats the reason.
"think if 100,000 preorder a game think of the money stores are making of of your money"
This makes no sense. If they didn't pre-order, they would still be buying it day one at launch. Thats pretty much guaranteed. (if people are willing to pre-order, logically this means they want the game on launch day.) Most stores don't charge extra to pre-order, at least Gamestop doesn't. So please, explain to me how the store is making more money off the pre-orde...
No. Their side is BS. Even the family thing. What about people like myself who are parents, and enjoy nothing more than relaxing with some video games at night after my daughter has gone to bed?
What about people who bought a new system for the family to play together?
What about the families that went to another family member's house and spent all Christmas day there, then couldn't play their new console when they got home?
Th...
The reason in they give makes no sense.
First, they know nothing is totally safe from a DDoS. So they also know that no matter how much protection gets added, they can still bring these systems down.
Also, Sony and MS wouldn't even need this protection if it wasn't for dicks like them making these attacks in the first place.
Their logic is flawed and makes no sense. The only thing thats true is when he says they do it for the laughs. ...
I played Dragon Age Inquisition :)
Is anyone else confused by this article?
I mean, the author explained what DDoS is, so he clearly knows how it works. He also stated plain as day that DDoS cannot be stopped.
All of that is true. But then he turns around and says that this could make Sony and MS purchase more servers and security to help combat DDoS? He just got done saying that DDoS couldn't be stopped. So where is the good in this? So confused.
You should. It was my first PS4 game. It was fantastic.
Yeah, but people that don't know any better will claim MS is trying to make the game look better than it really does.
Yeah! Every gamer should log into Xbox Live and PSN to play games and clog up the system legitimately!
Wait...
I think your missing the point. They are "prettied up" because these pics are going to be printed. When that happens, the pics lose their quality and end up looking worse than they actually do. This is why these pics get big resolutions. So that when they are printed, they actually look mor accurate.
There's a big difference between that, and just prettying up pics to post online.
