I've been a fan of the comics for years. Long before the movie. So this excites me. I only wish it was an actual game and not quicktime tell-tale nonsense.
But I'll give it a shot I suppose. I've tried The Walking Dead and Batman though and didn't like either enough to play last chapter 2.
So even though a GotG game excites me, i do wish it was something different.

Also, don't focus so much on Joker. The Arkham series was more of a timeline of The Joker's criminal career than an actual Batman game. Asylum sbowed him at the prime of his career. City showed his decline and death. Origins showed his origin. Knight showed his legacy. Story wise it was a Joker series. Not Batman.

They weren't taking stock into consideration. Sony didn't project anywhere near that. They expected to sell "hundreds of thousands". Likely because they knew how many units they were pushing out.
This shouldn't be surprising at all considering The Last of Us is considered to be one of the best games ever created by quite a lot of people.
Those kinds of games don't come around very often, sometimes entire console generations can go by without having a game of that caliber come out.

Mass Effect 3 was the right way to have both a single player and multiplayer mode in a game.
Which makes me question this article writer because they specifically call out Mass Effect.
I don't know how sad it is. I'm not a fan of Borderlands though I do recognize its quality and understand it has a massive following.
But other than that I can't really say Gearbox is very good. Especially after the whole Colonial Marines debacle.
