How is Diablo 3 still $30 even during a sale? That game came out on PS4 like 3 years ago and its still $60 on a normal day.
No one said the year 2016 had anything to do with it. Did you see comments claiming that 2016 had it out for people so consciously made a decision to kill them? No. You didn't.
People are saying "what a year" because a lot of famous people died this year. Thats all.
I think you need to calm down a little bit because there are thing you are missing.
No, funding a game does not mean the funding party now owns the IP. But there are contracts and legally binding agreements that can be made between two companies. That is what happened with Sony and Capcom for Street Fighter 5. Sony would fund the creation of the game and part of the deal is that SFV remains a PS4 exclusive.
This has been confirmed in interviews. No new St...
Whatever. If its really going to be $200 then I'm buying it day one. Even if it fails you can pretty much bet on new Mario games for it as well as Zelda, Fire Emblem, Monster Hunter, and Pokemon.
I'm okay with that.
It isn't....
If anything, the Japanese title would be Biohazard 7: Biohazard
@ Nevin1
The difference is that everyone knew Tomb Raider was a timed exclusive. It was always said that it would release on Xbox One first, the PS4 later.
SFV has always been said to be a PS exclusive as far as I know.
Uh....its not coming to Xbox One. It was never said to be a timed exclusive. It was always going to be a Playstation Exclusive.
Are there people that are actually under the impression that there's a chance of this happening?
No duh.
They'v been saying since before SFV was released that they wouldn't be making new versions and that all updates, additions, and balancing would be added to the existing SFV.
How is this news?
I didn't hate the character swap. It was really just to show that John Marston got avenged. You don't really play as his son long enough to like or hate him, and it at least left the story in a somewhat better place than just killing off the main character after working so hard to redeem himself.
Yeah.....not really.
The whole game was reall John Marston. In fact you didn't start playing as his son until after the end credits. It was more like a fan service to show that John was avenged. It was literally like one mission you played as his son.
Thats not really the same thing as having multiple protagonists spread out relatively equally through the whole story.
Its Nintendo. Most of the exclusive titles are fantastic. Its really the only reason to ever buy a Nintendo system....their exclusives.
You have a Wii U. Thats great but those are going away.
If its $200 i'm buying it day one.
This is how i look at things too.
I have my PS4/XB1 (depending on which one is for me that gen) for the 3rd party games. (Exclusives never mattered much to me as each console only has about 2 or 3 exclusives that i actually care about anyway. I would rather have the console that is going to run the other 99% of games I play the best, which happen to be games available on both consoles).
Then I usually buy a Nintendo system, whether its their console or p...
Did no one read the article?
He's talking about being good for the industry as a whole because games are so expensive to make these days that a lot of devs don't make enough back from them. He talks about how a large number of devs shut down last gen because of this.
I swear people read headlines and jump to wild conclusions.
Perhaps reading the article will answer your question.
Its all about the budget and amount of money it takes to make games these days.
A proper Pokemon game seems like a no brainer. With Sun/Moon just releasing last month it might be a while though.
Do people really buy Nintendo consoles for 3rd party games? No. They buy them for Nintendo's exclusives.
I've never bought a Nintendo console and wanted to play the newest 3rd party games on it. Thats what the PS4 and XB1 are for.
@Apocalypze
Um.....The Wii U was meant to be the first next gen console. It was only a year or so after Wii U released that PS4 came out. It was never meant to compete dorectly with the PS3. Yes it was more powerful, but it was supposed to be going up against PS4 and XB1's generation.
But....this is the North America sale?
