That isn't true at all. There are plenty of games that go outside the box on consoles. I have a PS4 so I can speak for that. Sure the most popular games happen to be shooters like CoD and Battlefield. But there are tons of choices of games that are not shooters, or "homogenized".
Darkest Dungeon. X-Com 2. Divinity: Original Sin. Witcher 3. I mean I could go on but at the end of the day, you are basically saying consoles are for the lowest common denominator, w...
They aren't. Pay attention.
You are going to be sadly mistaken if you think this game will flop....
I agree.
And the Switch should do well.
Multiplat isnt the only other option.
They could finally realize that gamers just want a gaming system rather than gimmicks and then make something like a Gamecube 2.
Having said that, Switch isn't really nearly as gimmicky as the Wii's were. If you want it to just be a home console, it can be that. If you want it to be a portable system it can be that too.
If all the rumors are true, as well as the price, then Switch should do ...
If this thing is really only $250 and as powerful as a PS4 and Xbone while also being portable then this is a day one buy for me. With all of Nintendo's exclusives its kind of a no brainer. I love my New 3DS XL, so this seems like a natural fit for me.
Can't wait to see what franchises like Monster Hunter and Fire Emblen can do with this hardware!
The New 3DS XL is $200. This is easily worth the price and if you don't really use the portability aspect then who cares? Its still a system that is going to be as powerful as a PS4/Xbone but with games you can't get on those systems. You can also guarantee a new Monster Hunter, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, etc down the line.
This is kind of a no brainer. I'm all over it if this price is accurate.
Japan would be awesome.
You could play a ninja which would be pretty similar to the assassins already. The more armored samurai would be the Japanese version of the Templars.
I'm not sure what you mean. SF5 lets you have rematches online.
Yes! Tie Fighter and its expansion is still one of my top 3 favorite games of all time! Sadly we will never see another like it. Its impossible to make a console version because there's simply not enough buttons on the controller. Tie Fighter literally used every button on the keyboard.
I really would give my 3rd nut for a new Tie Fighter game.
He's right. The video game indie scene is way better than the movie indie scene.
Couldn't agree more! I loved the old D&D games like Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 and Icewind Dale 1&2. Divinity took me back to that!
You should check out Pillars of Eternity if you havent. Its the same type of game and its fantastic.
I don't know. Lets ask the Resident Evil 7 haters, shall we? SHAZOOF!
Hello good sir. I am afraid you may have mistaken the meaning of my previous post. In no way do I think Diablo is a bad game. I quite enjoy Diablo actually. I have enjoyed all 3 of them and their expansions if I'm being honest.
I am simply pointing out that the two games mentioned in my comment are nothing like Diablo.
Having clarified that, I do hope you have a bountiful day.
Pillars of Eternity and Divinity: Original Sin are NOT Diablo clones.
They have totally different gameplay. Diablo is a hack and slash. Those two are strategy based isometric RPG's and have more depth tonthe combat than Diablo could ever hope to have.
Right, because no other RPG in the history of the world has ever had a system without actual classes....
If you want to be an engineer, guess what? You can only choose engineer abilities. If you want to be strong with biotics then make yourself a biotic powerhouse. Like weapons? Only get soldier type upgrades.
Removing classes does not make this any less an RPG. There are countless rpg's out there with no class system.
Waiting until when? The game comes out in two months lol.
A story? In the actual game? Please?
Also, more content.
I dont k kw though. When they first announce a release date this close its usually pretty solid.
Why not? Pre-orders show a certain level of interest and excitement, which is pretty much what the article and the guy's comment is all about
