You have now idea how many hours I put into that game when I had it on Playstation. Infact I still have my orginal disc.
That one thing I hate about reviewers, they always compareing a game to another game. If the game they compareing it to isn't the prequel they shouldn't be compareing it to it.
Anyway I usually ignore reviews for any type of media. The only way to see rather you like it or not is to try it yourself.
I loved the first one, the second not so much. I have to see some more gameplay to decide rather I'm interesting or not.
I said it before, but Capcom do know how to deliver trailers for their fighting games.
So let me get this straight, there are actual people who pay real world money for virtual world money.
Robsonmonkey just because it was more of a Final fantasy game than 13 doesn't give it any excuse for being boring.
Again? I wasn't disappointed with FXIII. I'll only be disappointed again if the game is a boring as XII.
I slightly agree Midgard227, but not with the fans shouldn't voice their opinions part. My problem is some of them throw around their opinions like facts. Almost like they saying everyone who like games like FXIII are idiots.
The first half of Almasy919's post is an excellent example. Crap this and Crap that (You got on Midgard227 case for sounding like a 10 year old, when it seem you sound like one too.) That is your opinion, just because you don’t like it doesn’t ...
That is a very stupid question. The reason they are called sequels is because they are continuation of the last game. When I buy a sequel, Yeah I expect new stuff, but I expect the old weapons and enemies to be back as well. The author of the article should just stop playing sequels if he expect a whole new gun set every iterations.
Rather it action or survior I can't wait.
The only game my mom like is Pac-Man. She think alot of games are way too violent, even the less mature one. That why I usually went to my father when it came to games. The only mature game I ever got her to play was GTA III and she played so politely, lol."
IMO It not that Square Enix need to be stopped, it fans needs to learn to move on. I'm sorry, but am I the only one sick of hearing how wonderful and amazeing they use to be when they were called Squaresoft. The company has evole, rather fans like it or not.
The same people complaining about how the company isn't as good as the old days, are the same people crying for a FFVII remake. Which if ever happens, will be the same people complaining about how it isn't ...
If someone didn't even bother to finsh XIII they shouldn't even be worried about what XIII-2 needs to approve or not.
@ Arksine
I agree, rumors of XIII-2 has been floating around since last year, plus alot can be done in 2 years. I mean the base is already set, it took XIII so long to come out because they builded a new engine from the ground up.
All they need to do now, is redesign most of the characters (I love Lighting new armor, BTW) and some of the monsters. Add new areas on to the old ones. Modify the gameplay here and there; and make a new story.
Some people might disagree, but at the moment I'm more excited for FFXIII-2. Versus is going to be a whole new world with whole new characters. Rather I will like it or not is still in the air.XIII-2 however I'm already familiar with the characters and setting and want to see where the game goes from the end XIII. I'm one of the fans who loved XIII so the trailer really got me excited.
I loved 13 and can't wait for 13-2.
I heard about it when I woke up and though what a great christmas present. I can't wait until they start showing the characters.
Innovation isn't dead, it just take time and a lot of brain power to create something new and diffrent. People just aren't patience. It like expecting an inventor to make a groundbreaking invention every go around.
Anyway the gaming industry is in no trouble. Gamers buy and play what they like. It's not a failure to create games with no innovation, but everyone loves. However It is a failure to make a game with tons of innovation, but it don't sell well. Tha...
To me it's a RPS (Role Playing Shooter)
As long as they makeing money they are relevant.
I can't help but laugh at some of these articles and people reaction to FF XIII-2. So because you and others didn't like the game, Square don't suppose to make a sequel for everyone else who liked the game.
