At least there's Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
-Eye roll- Multiplayer was one of the highlights of the game.
Oh please, it don't need a reboot. They should pick up where they left off and change that horrid game play that RE4 introduced. I hate when people run around saying "reboot" when one isn't needed. They rebooting Devil May Cry, another series that doesn't need rebooting.
First reaction: Oh great another DBZ game, didn't Raging Blast come out weeks ago.
Reaction after seeing the photos: Whoa, the art style looks pretty cool.Is there four players out at the same time. Freeza's finger beam hitting Krillan, Vegeta and Goku! Now I'm interested.
Agree with Craig, if it was cell shaded I wouldn't even give this game a second look.
I'm pumped for only one game on that list. Batman: Arkham City. The list is missing Little Big Planet, Marvel vs Capcom 3, and Infamous 2.
FF-13 is failure for some people. For me I beated it, loved ite and started a second playthrough. The Failure was FF12 now that was a sucky game, I didn't even have the stomach to finish it.
It's the opposite for me. I love when they do movie like trailers and not just copy and past gameplay videos. For example Marvel vs. Capcom episodes 1 and 2, those are some amazing trailers.
I been thinking about get Singularity.
I think it's possible to have Co-Op in a horror game and it working. The "Lost in Nightmare" expansion was a pleastant surpize, because it had a diffrent feel from the main game or the other expansion. I have replayed RE5 more than any other game in the series, just because I can experience it with my brother. RE VS mode didn't intrest me one bit and from the looks of it I might be stay clear of Dead Space 2's Multiplayer mode.
RE4 also a lot of action and the controls were the same as well. The only real diffrent is there are more enemies and multi-player in 5.
It was a high-rating game, but it also took the series off track. No zombies, less horror and puzzles, and barely any connection to the previous games (Aside from Leon and Ada)Obviously it wasn't revolutionized for the best if most people got sick of the formula by the second game.
I don't know why people bash RE5, when 4 was the one that ruin the series. And please stop with the steroids comments, it sound stupid everytime I hear it.
No, 4 was no better than 5.
My stack isn't that big.
FF12 - I haven't beat it, don't plan on playing again. Luckly 13 was much better.
Resident Evil Outbreak - Not boring, but I couldn't get into it. I might go try it again, so it won't just be sitting on my Shelf.
Did it succeed? I say yes
Did everyone like it? No, but name one successful game that everyone loves.
Chris RE5 design is better, Imo his old designs were bland. We could blame it on the Technology, but even his Remake design wasn't all that great. Personally I don't know how the author of the article can compare Chris and Snake (Who retained all of there key feature) With Dante, who doesn't even closely resemble the guy we been playing with for 4 game.
I've been waiting for a new game since Dino Crisis 2. I played 3, but the only thing I liked about it was the Spinosaurs Boss battles.
I wouldn't worry about the series pulling a RE, because it already made the transition with 1 and 2. Dino crisis was Survival Horror, but Dino Crisis 2 was more action orientated.
Don't really care about the rest but as a Dino Crisis fan I agree. The series need a sequel on the current or next gen consoles and they should make sure that Regina is the main character. I've been waiting for years another Dino Crisis game.
