This isn't even about Quinn at this point. Its about an industry-wide set of issues. Games journalists are finally getting the scrutiny theyve needed for the better half of a decade, and game developers are getting scrutiny they do NOT deserve to try and avoid the real issue.

Why? Its a good deal. Pretty soon they'll get to play 6 HOURS of the new dragon age. It also keeps the user base of older games active and introduces people to new series they might not be willing to risk much money on.

The vita does not have exclusives any more. Especially outside of Japan. Sony basically made it an indie/remote play machine. It might have 1 or 2 exclusives coming up but nothing compared to the wii u's line up.
The wii u increased the gap minutely from may-september, but the xbone literally negated any progress in the past few months several times over. And that's without Halo or Gears. They've been riding on third party support like madden and destiny.

I had to go to three gamestops to find a copy that wasnt registered for pre order. Almost got stuck with the gutted copy (the one they unwrap and slap that gross sticker on and charge me full price for). Really pleased to find it though.
Sad that the initial sales will be undermined by those forced to buy on the eshop and those waiting for a seconf shipment.
What titles in general sell that well? Worst selling 3D zelda game is what, 3.5-4 million copies? Most publishers would kill for that. Then you have NSMBW and SMG selling well over 10 million.
They dont need to sell that well to be a success. The Resident Evil games sold pretty well on the GC (4 and REmake sit among the highest selling games on the platform), given the install base.

I admit i am not totally clear on the Quinn issue, and if you went back in my comment history youd see that i found an ex a dubious source, but she has and continues to generalize gamers just like Sarkeesian. And while i could care less about any personal endeavors she has, that assertion is worthy of cross examination. And outside of her purported affairs with journalists, she has most definitely committed much more devious acts in terms of fraud and lying.
