@Abash
Shouldn't have read that while drinking water.
@FlyingFoxy
I think people give the N64 too much nostaligia-infused credit. Its late launch and cartridge format can be seen as the root of the company's issues today. Not that its a bad system, but the N64, gamecube, and now Wii U are all very similar. Mainly the N64 and Wii U.
The Wii U basically is the N64 in that it is a platform devoid of many games, but the games it does have define the generation. Bayonetta 2 is one of those games, and i can easily...
They wouldnt be stupid enough to release a console without a solid launch line up. That cant be done by 2016.
Also i cant see the PS5 and Xbox 2 coming out that early. Im thinking more like 2019 or 2020.
Did he really just cite Watch Dogs as an example of third party support? That's a good one, Reggie. Y...You were joking right?
Also i though Iwata took over as president of NOA
I think the move from a rounded, enjoyable protagonist in Xenoblade Chroniclesto the create-your-own mute in X is a huge step back.

OT: This game looks great but i can't see these timed betas being worth the probably hefty investment from MS.
In response to your other comment, that isnt where ALL problems originate. Nintendos games usually have rock solid framerate and great graphics, and almost NEVER need patches or anything. Even great games like TLOU have rocky framerates and glitches.
"Many stuff" can be told by (your opinion on) the enemy design? What?
They were doing a lot of cool things in that trailer, imo. Reminded me of those levels in sunshine without FLUDD.
Seriously, this is nintendo man, its pretty rare that they mess up gameplay. If anything we should wonder if they can make a compelling online component.
In that sense it is refreshing. We havent had a niche platform since the 6th gen which had three.
The Wii U's delivering quality games with smooth launches and no bugs, and that's commendable. I think, like the gamecube and N64, history will be kind to the system and only see the awesome games, not the gaps between them.
Im afraid there will be a small drought jan-march.
Big news guys, Bayonetta 2 is the best selling game of its week with almost 200k sold according to VGchartz. Not bad for a Wii U exclusive.
They already had the engine improved for the OoT remake, so this was the fastest way to get the game out. Plus remaking an n64 game for the Wii U would be a much heftier undertaking.
@Foxtrot
But then again we would've had to wait even longer to reveal it and people would b**** even longer that it isn't revealed.
Overall good direct, but 5 bucks for the pikmin short film is BS.
@mike
You really should lose comment privileges if all you have to say is stupid inflammatory crap. Contribute something to the conversation or don't say anything.
As for Cod, wii u owners have shown they arent interested in the game that Activision keeps giving them.
@jjonez18
They lacked any good Japanese titles at launch, and for a while. Also the PS2 was still too hot for people to move on.
Both. The PS3 actually had the worst year one performance of the past two gens in Japan, outside of the 360 and xbone. The Wii U just barely beat it, and the PS4, at this rate, will barely beat it too.
At the end of the gen, assuming its shorter than last, the PS4 will probably match or exceed the PS3's lifetime...
Even in a weaker market, the PS4 is outpacing the PS3. No one bought the ps3 when it first came out in japan
@Abizzel
...or TGS.
I cant wait until a new animal crossing. They could do a lot with the network capabilities of the wii u.
Plusanimal crossing is bigger than ever after New Leaf
Excuse me, does ZEUS ring a bell?! Theres lightning outside right now, am i to presume that isn't the work of Zeus?
Smh anti-mythologists...
When does that MK bundle come out?
Dude, 3D World, Pikmin 3, and NSMBU were all in year one and still sit in the top ten highest rated next gen exclusives.
If you can count TLOU then i can also count WWHD which was also year one and also sits in the top ten
