Seeing it in 60 fps is the biggest difference. Also... dat vegetation.
The shooting setpieces look a lot more engaging and dynamic which i like since i've honestly always felt the shooting mechanics of uncharted were not its strong suit.
Also the enemy AI seems more intelligent (the way they check on their friends) which is also good since i think TLOU underdelivered on the promise of its AI.
It is cheaper, but xbox one and ps4 both use x86 this gen, so it wouldn't be nearly as consuming as last gen where developers needed to port to/port from the cell.
I think nintendo has partial rights to the series or something like that. The sales of the series (still very low) have been largely higher on nintendo platforms.
Xenoblade X delayed to 2016 so they have time to implement cranky kong
I hope my expectations aren't too high!
@Neversoft
Of course. And to the disagrees: look at the groundbreaking tech of DKC, which Nintendo themselves then used on Yoshi's Island and Kirby Super Star. Before Banjo Kazooie fitting textures into a pattern wasn't even a thing due to the texture limitations, but Rare found a work around which Nintendo also utilized. Star Fox Adventures was almost a launch game but it looked better than a lot of the stuff on the GC and even Wii.

@shaw
If smash bros can do it there's zero reason paper mario couldn't be 1080p/60fps
Mine are probably (in no particular order)
Clocktower (tons of fun with friends on halloween lol)
Silent Hill
Resident Evil 1-3
FF8
Parasite Eve
MGS
Honestly, Rare seemed to know the hardware better than Nintendo.
They should go back to that style of gameplay too.
Paper mario would look great in 1080p on wii u.
The title is a play on words. I had to double take too.
Xenoblade really reinvigorated my interest in new games. I still primarily play old games just because they have more of a charm to me.
Lol, i know that feeling.
Im guessing its from people not content/ wouldnt be content with just their Ps4.
I've had a ps4 since september and the only game that has really wowed me was LBP. Infamous was solid too. I certainly wouldnt be content with any one console, personally. I had a wii u and ps3 combo, now i have a wii u and ps4 combo.

The one who dug all this up is an ex who posted private issues online and cowered behind their supposed importance to the industry as if it justified his last act as anything more than a thing of spite. Let's be real, his blog is 99% look at this girl that screwed some guys, and 1% industry commentary. Ideally he wouldn't have stooped himself to her level, and ideally we wouldn't have needed a scandal such as that to kickstart these issues on a wider level.

Its time to move on from Quinn and get on to the real issues at hand, I could care less about this woman's sex life. People are focusing on the scandal of it all and slut-shaming when we should be looking at the bigger picture.
Bottom line, people do it with each other. Get over it.
@DragonKnight
I'm sorry, what? I'm not saying there aren't factors, the fact that assassin's creed games are popping out so fast is EXACTLY why the value of the games lessen over time. But the general consensus on the quality of the games is a factor too. Call of Duty and Halo have a lot of sequels, and yet they retain their value for YEARS. This isn't because of any number of excuses, its because consumers see less value in the AC series.

Yeah, nevermind the low resolution, the awful framerate, the many graphical glitches, etc. You might've gotten a lucky first playthrough, or you might just be selective with your memory for all I know, but you can't deny the game was a mess. It was downgraded, the performance is poor, and even the patches are lowering the visuals further. At a certain point we should stop defending half ass products. As generous as Ubisoft was with the reparation, they s...
@DragonKnight
Why be so defensive. He's allowed to have that opinion. Ubisoft just released one of the most broken games this year, and that's really saying something. The series is descending to the bargain bin faster and faster with each iteration. You can't blame people for getting sick of series that has had TWO installments this year and has been at least annual since 2009.
I doubt wii u will sell an average of 2 million a year in the US alone. Even with smash and mario kart 8 in the same year i don't think they hit 2 million in the US. You seem really generous with that prediction.
