It's not that complicated. It's basically like running a game with two different settings. While you're connected to the cloud, the game will look better. if you drop the connection, it would be like you reduced your settings from ultra to high, or whatever.

No, what would have been "epic" (and by epic, i mean average since that word is way over-used) is if you had a choice of how the game ends.
instead of killing the doctors, you can just walk up to ellie. then ellie wakes up just long enough to look at you and nod as a way of letting you know she's aware of what's happening and what needs to happen.

Additionally, a lot of people can't afford (or are intimidated by) PCs that would run some of the games that will be on the consoles very well.
A lot of console gamers are jut console gamers and it never even occurs to them that you can play AAA titles on comp...therefore it makes the titles exclusive.
