wow look ^^^^
the excuses have already begun!
if that is the case, then why-oh-why aren't they licensing the KZ2 engine for use across more games on ps3?
That would only make sense!
Why not port the engine to the 360?
even more sense!
"If we want to be successful, our game has to be the best game that can exist on Xbox 360 and PS3... They're not competing versus each other; they're competing within PS3, within 360, within PC. That means we will try to maximize whatever PC gives us, whatever 360 gives us, whatever PS3 gives us."
The above quote means this will be THE definitive multiplat comparison.
Given that each platform will be maximised,
if the PS3 doesn't measure up, then no e...
The Sony defence force activated in record time, to save face.
Nothing like a bit of viral twittering to bring the Ps3 fanboys a-running. Thanks a million to playstationlifestyle.net
An exemplary case of PS3 brand loyalty coming to the rescue.
A bit sad, imo.
... the ps3 is 8+million units behind.
Which pretty much nullifies the "1 year head-start argument"...
As someone who's played GT5 prologue I have to say the forza3 screenshots look set blow gt5 clean out of the water.
I also found this quote very interesting:
""Our new graphics engine pushes the 360 in new ways, ways it has never been pushed before," Greenawalt said."
... uh... weren't ps3 fans telling us that the 360 was maxed over a year ago?
Guess not.
you're right soda.
It is now halfway through 2009 and multiplats still look and play better on the 360.
Not only that, but the install issues on ps3 still haven't been sorted.
*sighs*
well it's only on ps3 that an install is required.
On the 360 it plays... instantly!
Given the plethora of install issues on ps3, perhaps it should have been called bugstation3?
i jest.
It didn't take long for the ps3 fanhorde to cry foul.
What everyone has forgotten is that Sony was giving away FREE ps3s with every sony bravia sold, not so long ago.
but then... that wasn't a bribe, right?
how quickly that is forgotten by the ps3 fanboys.
Let's all smear this smeary smear campaign while turning the other cheek for Sony, eh?
Yeah you're not seeing it, because you're not all that smart, it seems.
No matter.... keep editing those posts to save face.
@ Ju
The problem is that Ultimolu has made a habit out of it and all the people who pointed it out have obviously noticed as well.
Check here for further confirmation.

If the shoe fits, then wear it, bud.
Heya Bud.
It's cute? How so?
oh wait... you mean the 3rd place medal?
...... Yeah that was my personal touch.
No need to thank me for making everyone smile/smirk!
Perhaps I should have used this one?

Guys, all i did was quote the article.
The fact that some of you hit disagree, speaks volumes about your intellect.
you are probably right.
But is 2011 too late?
So Yeah..... kaempferzeon and laughing man have missed the point.
The arcade game was built on on ps3 hardware, from the ground up.
It is, undisputably, built to run on ps3 hardware.
Logically, the game should run best on PS3.
Despite this, it runs better and looks better on the 360.
Fancy that, a port of native ps3 code that runs better on the 360 hardware!
Doesn't that tell you something, kids?
Pssst!... here's a hint... ...
I'll have the superior 360 port.
Funny how the game was designed on ps3 first and then ported to 360.
Yet, it looks better on the 360.
Makes me wonder how many other multiplats were gimped down so they could run on the ps3 too....
end of.
yeah that sounds familiar....
;)
for what you are buying.
However, the Ps3 sales, at this price, are not fine.
The momentum has actually been going backwards.
In time, the ps3 will pricedrop.
At that time, the momentum will surely pick up again.
In the meantime, however, Sony is treading a VERY fine line between getting profitability back (by keeping its current price) vs. keeping sales at acceptable levels.
problem is, the ps3 has set a plethora of precedents with inferior multiplats.
In each case that the ps3 didn't measure up, the excuses were plenty.
In the comment above, BEFORE THE GAME HAS EVEN RELEASED, the excuses have begun, just in case the ps3 doesn't measure up.
Not only that but the damage control has begun as well!
Tut-tut!
Are you guys gamers or excuse-makers?
In any case, I am looking forward to seeing the comparisons.
