The problem is the future. Can Microsoft keep the exclusives coming in a regular basis? It didn't happen with the X360. X360 quality exclusives were few and quite sparse.
The X1 could most likely do 1080p on COD Ghosts and BF4, but those two games are so badly optimized, that they didn't even bother with 1080p in the X1... mainly due to time restrictions and the lack of enough work force for so many platform launches.
Even the PC versions of those games are two big piles of crap.
BTW, isn't the PS4 version of BF4 at 900p ?

Yep, i suspected this game would get a lot of 8's, some 7's and some 9's. It just didn't look like a 10 quality game. Good score never the less and it looks like a fun game.
I really liked the Splosion man series by these guys, but this game looked bad from the beginning.

The X1 will probably be successful, just not as successful as the PS4, i think...

What if I told you that the new consoles, PS4 and X1, are PC's... yep, mind-blowing.
Next week various unbiased news sites can take a proper look at X1 games and compare them with other platforms.
Maybe by then we can see if those games on 720p look better, or not, then the 1080p versions.

EA and Ubisoft are sh*t companies to PC gamers.
Gaming market share is not only consoles sold. Game sales, online, digital content, among other things, also counts.
... and since the Wii hardly sells games, i wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft holds 30% of the gaming market share.

As for "Viral Marketers", every big company uses them, Microsoft, Sony, Apple, Google, etc. If it helps business and makes them money, then they will use them. Simple as that.
