Eight years between Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and on both of them most games run at 720p. Just shows that during eight years the people working at Microsoft Xbox division have been sleeping, instead of working on a new console... incompetent fools. There are so incompetent that they managed to design a inferior console to their competitor, and cost more $$$ to manufacture.

I have to agree. If the X1 flops, or if it's not as successful as Microsoft hopes, they will be left with two options: quit the console business or make a early launch of their next console, that way forcing Sony to follow with their next console.
As for my predictions, i don't think the X1 will flop, but it won't be as successful as the PS4.
Well, this is a surprise. CD Projekt says that the X1 is easier to develop for then the PS4, when most developers say otherwise.

I find this article hard to believe. The Xbox One costs $90 more than a PS4, Kinect is $75, so the console (without Kinect) is $15 more then the PS4... and has lower spec hardware.

All depends on the price of the Steam Machine. Believe me, a steam machine with a GTX 780 video card, Intel Core i7-processor, 16gb RAM is not going to be cheap.
If the Steam machine is too expensive, then simply ask someone to build you a decent PC (if you don't know how), install the Steam OS (it's free), buy the Valve/PS4/X1/Other controller, plug it to your TV and you good to go.
I would say the PS4 without a doubt. Microsoft only has them selfs to blame: weaker hardware and forced inclusion of Kinect.
BTW: the guy from the video said that the PS4 launched in 2 countries: North America and Canada. I didn't know North America was a country.
What's the point of the Steam machine if Valve doesn't plan to release their games exclusively for the machine.

If Gears goes, then Microsoft only has one big exclusive system seller, Halo. That's not good for a console... specially for the most expensive console.
Yep, a lot of developers are praising the PS4's raw power. Kudos to Sony for making a powerful console. Getting mine next year when Infamous releases.
