I think Sony was just trying to avoid Black Ops but they had to release before Christmas 2010.
Maybe this PS3 jailbreak crap caused Sony to go back and Pirate proof the Playstation flagship title. I hope they did as the Grand Turismo series is one hell of a racing game.
Sony took a huge risk with Heavy Rain so I think they wanted to make a profit so they kept the advertising budget low and concentrated on it's core audience of GAMERS. A GAMER is a GAMER male or female doesn't matter as a controller or KB/M is a unisex device.
Maybe pop out some DLC and advertise in a different way to pull in a more diverse audience then from those that played Heavy Rain.

I don't care about IGN review and I don't care about how much money M$ is spending on advertising.
Until I see a core game (Halo, Gears, COD) being played flawlessly on Kinect or a game being played that will make me say "Eye Toy can't do that" then I will give Kinect it's props.

That's very disappointing to me. As cookie cutter format as the Call of Duty series has become I would expect a new Call of Duty game every four months.
Just change a few textures, the story, make a new trailer and give it a flashy title.....rinse and repeat.

Hell after 100 million PS2 units sold and still selling if your crying about backward capabilities on the PS3 then go troll some where else as you can easily find or buy a PS2.
I'd rather play old School PS1 and PS2 games with up to date graphics. If they keep the price just right they can make millions but become too greedy and I'll stick with software emulation.

Treyarch is at the point of sink or swim. We all know they are making Black Ops and if it sucks well then that's not good for them but if it's good then let's throw a party and crank out Black Ops 2.
Infinity Ward is still cashing checks from Modern Warfare 2 so I don't really think they care until Black Ops hit's the shelves and N4G has a comparison article (Black Ops vs. MW2 who wins?) running every 5 minutes.

Your not gonna replace the keyboard for the simple fact that i use 17 keys when i play STALKER so that thing doesn't have enough buttons. But it may be good for some games but not the complicated ones.

I feel bad for PS3 gamers as I know they really want to play GT5. Seems Sony is dropping the ball on this as they should have gotten this out before Christmas.

Yeh it's one of the best times ever for upgrading your GPU. So much good stuff is available to the point where you say "I want this" but then Nvidia or AMD jump out of no where and say "NO you want this" while holding some shiny new silicon with a 8 and 6 pin power connector.

Back in the day 2 million units sold was instant Ferrari in the drive way but now with the amount of money spent on advertisement and promotion 2 million may just break even.
EA spent a ton of money advertising this game plus had to pay DICE for the MP and they still are advertising cause they know once Black Ops hits the selves it's.....

Still waiting on hard confirmed benchmarks from reputable web sites on what the performance specs for the GTX 580 are gonna be.
Still the GTX 460 Sli or HD 6870 CF are the best solutions and both setups are cheaper than the GTX480 that they totally crush.
And then Dx12 will be Nvidia as these two companies flip flop back and fourth.
25 million cards in 12 months is awesome. I prefer AMD because their cards use less watts, run cooler, and quieter. Don't get me wrong as Nvidia makes a great product like GTX 460 to exact.
