M$ and Sony do compete in the console world but they are business partners in the PC world. Sony Vaio is the premium PC brand that only comes with Windows software (usually windows professional)
Sony Vaio directly competes with Apple as far as quality, style, and equipment.

I see MLAA more for integrated PC GPU's. Most PC stand alone Gpu's can run 4X MSAA with no problems as 4xAA eliminates 99% of all jaggies anyway.
Hell just bump the resolution up to 1920 x 1080 or even better 2560 x 1600 and see no jaggies at all with 2xAA
MLAA is very cool as it uses less resources and allows higher frame rates for consoles and PC.

This is exactly what would happen.
First the entire Asian market would never ever buy another Sony product again, so ZERO sales in China Japan Korea Taiwan and the west coast of the U.S..

This is the game either Bungie or someone at Microsoft played, then copied, and released it as Halo.
Halo was originally a RTS but M$ needed a hot game to launch the xbox and at the time Starsiege: Tribes was the hottest ticket in town back in 1998 with it's online MP and fast paced space combat.

Hands down these are the two best cards for the Red and Green team's flagship single GPU model.
The Zotac GTX 480 runs a hell of a lot cooler than any other fire starting GTX 480 out and the Gigabyte HD 5870 comes with a 100 mhz overclock running at 950 mhz.

I prefer AMD GPU's for the simple fact that they are just as good as Nvidia but use way less electricity which is important to me.
Also I overclock my CPU on air so I can't have all that heat blowing in my case from aftermarket GPU cooling fans so since AMD run cooler that's what I prefer.

WTF is wrong with your HDD? Don't tell me you got a 5400 rpm HDD w/ 4mb cache? Hence your Windows 5.9 score, are you using SATA or IDE cables for your HDD? that will make a difference.

Single card solution I say they are a tie as benchmarks are about even.
The GTX460 runs cooler but the HD 6850 gets better performance gain from overclocking than the GTX 460 even though the GTX 460 overclocks well.
As a two card solution the HD 6850 wins as it's performance blows the GTX 460 sli away.
