It wasn't bizarre that it increased them. There was a very basic explanation given as to why that happened. Halo 3 was released before the install option and used a special system to decrease load times that conflicted with the install option. Halo: Reach will be optimized for installing.
Good for Sony. They beat the Wii in terms of quality. HD graphics and precision versus flailing and last gen graphics. Guess who wins? If I ever going to get into motion control gaming I'll need to see something that's fluid and natural and Move seems to be that. The Wii is a messy gimmick that people bought because it was different and cheap. Everyone I know that has a Wii lets it collect dust aside from a few die hard Nintendo fans.
Already playing it, still want Halo Reach though. Sounds like whoever wrote this is trying to be an ass or is compensating for something. Halo has interesting gameplay you can't get elsewhere. You can play both. I think most PC players hopping on Halo for a little bit would realize it's not all about having good aim and they would lose to the better players. Have fun tying to play splitscreen Crysis. The resulting fire should light up the sky nicely.
A stab proof vest is a must, preferably bulletproof though. I'd suggest a gun if you can legally carry one. Don't skimp on the caliber either, nothing less the .50 AE. Go with a friend, have him armed as well(legally of course). Watch each other's six at all times. If you got Legendary or the Limited console you're going to need armored transport.
Open world RPG shooter, calling it now. Just look at their job listings.
You're supposed to drive, it has always been that way. In any game where there was a driving sequence it is you driving or it is on rails. Nobody makes competent driving AI that can navigate a whole campaign level.
Halo 3 had bad AI, because they tried turning Brutes into Elites and failed. Other than that the Halo Series has always had good AI.
Some girl got banned for identifying herself as a lesbian. I think it was right, but a shitstorm followed. There is no reason to put your sexual orientation in your profile for a video game.
A real zombie survival game. No not a game, a simulator.
Good job Microsoft, keep up the good work.
Much better looking then the first.
The game is practically at 2 million US preorders right now. Its been going up 200,000 preorders a week and was at 1.7 million on the 4th with 10 days to go. Right now the game has more US preorders than MW2 did at this time. By launch it will probably be the biggest launch on one platform ever. Black Ops of course will sell more on all platforms combined no doubt and break sales records. It is a shame people didn't learn after MW2 and will be bitching by February the game sucks but most ...
If Reach's graphics look bad to anyone they really need to die. It might not be Uncharted good and is nothing compared to some PC games, but it looks phenomenal. Combine that with it sound which is way above most games, the excellent character, weapons and vehicle models, the variety of color and the great in game effects and the game is very pleasant experience without even factoring in gameplay.
The only reason I pay for XBL is Halo. It is too bad MS is a bunch of money grubbing assholes. I can guarantee I won't pay for Xbox Live again if Bungie's next game is an FPS of sorts and I can get it somewhere else but Xbox.
I'll never buy a game that is:
a) shovelware
b) featuring Avatars
That's most of what Kinect has. The dancing and fitness game look very accurate and I doubt they could be done to that level without Kinect, but is that really the best Kinect can do? I wouldn't pay sixty dollars for either of those games and I definitely won't buy a hundred and fifty dollar add-on to go with them. My Xbox 360 will never have the dishonor of being penetrated by K...
Obviously Move>Wii, the only difference is precision and responsiveness and we will need to wait and see what Kinect can do as it is different.
Liking Move will be the only reason I buy Killzone 3 when I eventually get a PS3. I think I'll like it.
10x0=0 /s
That won't help because I'll just play one game that's worth paying for.
I love Halo, but these aren't supposed to be up for a few days. This obviously isn't the best source of info.
I will believe it when I see it. Will the campaign be 100+ hours or will the multiplayer feature a map editor and customization? I doubt the game fits into one of those categories so it won't be offering the most value of any game. Good graphics, 3D, jetpacks, Move, mechs and standard multiplayer/campaign is not extreme value. It may be a good game, but by no means the best value around. Definitely worth the $60. Look at LBP2, GT5, Starcraft II, Fallout: New Vegas and Halo: Reach if you w...
