Hey THQ, no one cares about bad games. There's a reason games are selling millions while you sit here and bitch about used games hurting sales. If you're going to do it then do it and watch your sales not change or go down. Yes buying a game used is a little messed up when you expect to have online access even though you never payed the developers, but no one wants to here the whining. Do something about and stop talking about it.
I still have no problem with this, but its funny how many people are agreeing with it. I guess Sony does make better games than some of the guys already doing this, but still it seems a little biased. If buying games from Sony new when I get a PS3 means no mandatory subscription fees then I will.
People, like myself, are still playing the first installment of the game, as well as the newer ones. Obviously they're doing something right. Nobody plays a bad game for that long. The first game still has more options than most games coming out today.
That's a pretty stupid saying. There is always room for improvement, you just need to keep the foundation of a game the same. Floaty physics, twitch shooting, energy shields, and two weapon limits are what make Halo the game it is, there is so much building you can do from that foundation though and Reach proves it.

Black Ops will sell most due to being on multiple platforms. Reach and GT5 will kill it on a single platform bases. Both GT5 and Reach will sell great, no telling which will sell more now, don't try guessing. I'll be getting both if possible.

This article is complete bullshit, there is no reason to take 5 of the PS3's best games and add them to a top 5 most overhyped list, but there sure are a lot of PS3 fanboys here. Halo 3 is in no way overhyped, the game still gets between 500,000 and 1,000,000 users per day, three years after launch.

I'm sorry, as a Xbox 360 owner, there is no way Microsoft has a better 2011 line up. Sony already has so much coming out with more to announce. Microsoft has Gears of War 3, Gun Loco and Codename: Kingdoms. Even if MS goes crazy with the announcements they still have lot of catch up to do.
The problem is that I bought a Xbox 360 for gaming. I don't want to spend $150 for a beta test for future technology.
The beta for the BF3 is shipping with both the consoles and PC versions of Medal of Honor. I'd say developing a beta for a particular platform is a good indication of it being released on said platform.
I have the urge to call this shit because of MW2, but I think Treyarch are working hard on this. They seem to care and just want to make a fun game. They obviously did a lot of research and while it will be over the top, it has some factual basis. I think Treyarch can deliver a good game and I feel bad for all the criticism they're going to be getting and already are. IW and Activision really tainted the CoD series. While this is another yearly Call of Duty release, it has potential.
Variety for one thing. The PC does a few genres perfect, but the rest not so much. RTS, RPG and MMO doesn't lead to the most diverse game library. It doesn't even do shooter best anymore, it just still has the most accurate controls and better graphics. Does the PCs have a diverse lineup of shooters like like MGS, Uncharted, Halo, Gears of War, SOCOM or Killzone? Do many of the PC shooter now end up on consoles? Graphics do not matter. If I can play a game for 100+ hours then the devs made the right decisions when making the game.
The only reason I have an Xbox is for Halo. I like Gears of War and Fable, but I could live without them. With Bungie going Multiplatfom Reach, Fable 3 and Gears of War 3 could be my last Xbox games. I can just buy Bungie's next project on PS3 or PC and I could see Epic going multipltform. Unless MS steps up there game the next gen Xbox won't be a buy. I'll just save up for a gaming PC, 3D TV and the eventual PS4.

The moment you're using their online service its their choice if you pay to use it. Have fun playing single player or split screen if $5 or $10 is that big of a deal. Better yet, just buy the game new and support the developers.
