There's no excuse for these things to not be included.
The ps3 had them and I was also looking forward to this on ps4.
(they were focusing on gaming ) lol then why even include Netflix and hulu. It's just an excuse maybe they were trying to push m unlimited maybe not but theres no reason to exclude those features.
Remember how upset people were that they removed the option to use your own os.

I don't like them either, it would be best if they didn't announce certain games as launch games or several years before they release.
I'm still waiting on the last guardian.

Honestly it would be nice if they showed how fast the system loads into apps and the ps store.
I don't want it to be as slow as the ps3.
I haven't seen any videos of this, the kios I tried at target didn't have any extra features and it actually took a bit to load from one game to another not a big deal since games always take a while to load.
I just really want Netflix to load up quickly
Looks a bit too plain, I just hope the apps and playstation store load up quickly this time around.
Ryse looks great, killzone looks great, ps4 is more powerful, xbone is the better media machine at least for now.
Both will have lovely games and if you own both then you'll be sure to play them all.
It's all in the detail it does look amazing, no xbox one for me but to anyone who's purchasing it, hope you enjoy.

Depends on what you consider high end, and not all games run locked at 60 fps and 1080p on pc they often dip a bit while some run higher than that and never get anywhere below 60 fps.
It seems xbox one is going to be a great media machine better than ps4 in that respect however it's just too expensive and I believe developers are going to invest more time in the ps4.
So for me its the Ps4, but if MS lifts the fee for the apps I'm already paying for such as Netflix, the I'll purchase it when its down to a reasonable price.

knack looks inferior to ratchet but its too early to judge the systems. however if your thinking of purchasing an xbox one id wait a year or 2 to see if the games improve
Resolution is important but definitely not the most important, physics,textures,lighting and so on those are the things that need to be high in quality to make the game look better. at 900p games can look beautiful.
If 1080p was that important more console owners would have switched to pc long long ago.
This is my day one with the ps4. As nice as some of these shooters look this game has impressed me the most.

Very true, honestly if it hadn't been for the xbox 360 the ps3 wouldn't have seen all of the major price cuts that helped get it into peoples homes.
It helped humble Sony quite a bit. Imagine if sony had left the business we would be stuck with all that DRM stuff from MS.
Competition is always good keeps companies on their toes and benefits us the most.

I'm sure people know they are different consoles, however I doubt people know all of the different features the Wii u offers.
I for example didn't know you could browse the web while playing a game, I'm not sure what Nintendo tv is but now I can find out.
Will this help Nintendo sell as many systems as the Wii, I doubt it, But it may help folks who were apprehensive about it buying it actually take the plunge.
It's not what it used to be, but it still has many followers. A next gen Gears if done properly could be a system mover.

It would be horrible for Microsoft, But I would love if they remade the first one which had the best multiplayer :)

720p vs 1080p
If you have been gaming on pc for sometime you know there is a huge difference, however if your only option is to play in 720p you wont know the difference you have to be able to compare it to see the difference.
As far as call of duty is concerned its a joke of a game (graphically) and there's definitely more to a game than resolution. i.e. (textures,physicslighting and so on) and those things without a doubt have been vastly improved from...

Well its obvious they would have made advancements on the ps4 as well and I'm sure the games will show it for both consoles, which in the end makes gamers happy.
It all depends on the level of detail you want from your games the more detail in textures, physics then the more you have to compromise on either resolution or fps, that goes for most pc's as well.
I'm sure the ps4 can run uncharted 2 or the last of us in 1080 p at 60 fps but if they make a new engine that is able to take advantage of the hardware they may have to drop the fps to 30.
