Brilliant gameplay for a shooter? lol
I haven't played this game but I haven't played a recent FPS in which I found the gamplay brilliant.
I am currently playing BF4 on PS4 and all I can say is that the maps at least in comparison to previous killzone games are brilliant but the gameplay isn't much different.

I always found killzone to be a meh just really pretty, I'll be picking this one up in the future. Can anyone let me know if this has any destructible environments?

Killzone is fine,
Killzone 2 was a beautiful looking game, but the gameplay wasn't too great but it was definitely more than a decent game. I skipped number 3 imo it wasn't much of an improvement over 2.
For me last gen was all about uncharted mgs, heavy rain and go3 for ps3. all of the other exclusives weren't my cup of tea.
I love my third party games so this time around im purchasing the ps4 first :) less expensive way to ex...
To be fair most franchises don't change much if they do then they lose their fan base.

Yup its a small percent but considering the release date is tomorrow this is not good. Does anyone know how long the warranty is?
@lucreto that's what they expect, however the other millions are not in peoples homes. I just find it worrying that this many consoles are having problems specially from reviewers.
I would figure they would send the most reliable ones to them.

Very true "sony will never charge to play online" and now it's ok because "well they offer more for your subscription" Ads were regarded as evil on xbox 360 by ps3 only owners but I'm sure now it will be acceptable.
Sony is more like Microsoft than people think, but fanboyism blinds folks.
I wonder if it's going to only be Sony ads, or if it will go the xbox route as well.
Only time will tell but why pass up on the opportunity to cash in on some ad space.
I played the Knack demo and it didn't impress it really doesn't look next gen imo.
Killzone looks great but what I'm really excited for is the next gen NBA 2k14 and ps4 is the most affordable way to experience it.

Lol it's definitely not realistic. It's a bit slower than other shooters I played and beat number 2 skipped 3 it felt just as slow. There's nothing wrong with it but to say it's a simulation of real combat is a big stretch.
It definitely feels better than the ps3 controls.
I didn't like the first one so didn't bother with the 2nd I may give this one a try though.
Resolution definitely matters this gen with multiplats it's a big difference.
In first party exclusives maybe not so much since there's no way to compare them.

I think most games on PS4 are going to be a variable 60 fps, most always drop during heavy action scenes.
These systems can most certainly hit 60 fps on any game they just cant maintain it.
I was hoping Killzone would be locked at 60 fps it doesn't seem too demanding but even that game can't keep the fps locked.
is it really at 14fps?

What makes killzone SF's gameplay brilliant? you seem to be unable to explain the brilliance of the gameplay. Which is why I think you are full of it, just my opinion.
