when God of War 2 came out. I had no idea what God of War was sine I had never played any PS2 game. I was looking for Motorstorm when a guy told me, "You should play this game, your brain is going to explode, when you finish it you'll come back running for the first game"... OMG, and he was right, two weeks later I had already finished the two games, and were the best games I had played in my life at the time, so I regreted not having a PS2.

I agree with your point. I actually don't care about reviews this gen for the same reason i stated, but it is not me or you I worry about, we know how amazing this game is because we are informed. It's just frustrating that I have friends that think Dante's Inferno is a better game, and some actually think God of War 3 is copying Dante's Inferno ( I know some people are just retards), but my point is, that if they are trying to make a decision, and they read a review, they won't like it as mu...
Sadly, when the reviews are out, everyone will ignore the amazing first impressions and previews the game is getting and will slap an 8 max arguing that the game is linear, or doesn't have multiplayer (gametrailers), or is not locked at 60 fps, or "been there done that", or not enough innovation (gametrailers.com, 92 max) etc.
Too bad, the media does not know/want to give credit to games that deserve them if they don't get paid or is/is not exclusive to one console.
For me Bayonetta is way better than Devil May Cry. The action is awesome as well as the moves and combos. Overall, is an excellent game. It could even be compared somehow to Ninja Gaiden, and Bayonetta is also better.
What I have problem with is the gameplay. Maybe is because I am playing the PS3 version, but the buttons don't feel responsive 100%, and the camera angles sometimes affect the fighting.

why haven't they created a MULTIPLATFORM category. PS3 has plenty exclusives to be nominated, as well as other consoles, and there is more than enough multiplatform games to make a category by itself. That way it would be fair for the consoles AND the multiplatform games

the secret video is confirmed. In a recent interview (i read it in 1up) Nomura said that you have to accomplish some requirements to unlock it, and by starting the game on the hardest difficulty would make it easier. He said that the video was indeed hinting at a sequel.
I would guess they would announce KH3 at TGS 10, since at E3 they said they would show gameplay from FFv13. (Although I don't see it coming until Late 2011 at the earliest :( )
and if it comes out, The Last Guardian could beat GOW 3 for GOTY...
Thos three games are the reasons why I haven't sold my PSP. I know there are great games for the PSP, but I'm nota portable gamer that much.
I hope they announce KH3 at E3 or sometime next year. They said there's an unlockable video in Birth by Sleep hinting at the sequel, so hopefully is indeed KH3 and not another spin off..
Kindom Hearts 3. It is a very requested game, although not as requested than FF7 remake, but I am sure I read in an interview that a video for the next will be unlock-able in Birth by Sleep.
I know a lot of people would like to see a FF7 remake, but personally, I would prefer KH3, it could be amazing, and have FFv13 graphics with improved battle system, and if it is PS3 exclusive, the improvement from 2 to 3 could be as big as from GOW 2 to 3.
I hate these "news" stories. They are just trying to downplay the game because is exclusive to the PS3. I haven't played any Final Fantasy game so I don't know if they are any good, but come on! they are writing these POS articles even though they know the PS2 had more fanbase at the time, the games were cheaper, the economy didn't suck as much, and Final Fantasy 13 sells from Media Crate are from FOUR days, not a WEEK...

When I heard about LBP I just drooled about the possibilities in creating levels, problem was, when it released I realized it was too complex and time consuming. On the other hand, with MNR, it is very easy to create a track, and even if you are not into creating, if you give it a shot, you'll be amazed on what you can do with little time. I am not creative enough, but even I get surprised of what I have done. (sadly I haven't published a track yet)

Have you played the demo? the graphics are at the same level as Uncharted 2, and they have been improved a lot since then. This pictures are also from a earlier build rather than the final product (which will be improved a bit further). They video from which this screenshots were taken is from the Beta status, and if you followed Killzone 2, the graphics from Beta to release improved a lot.
