Are you talking about how Nintendo stopped producing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, to make demand Metroid Prime: Trilogy?
The 2009 numbers are crazy.
I almost wonder if Wii HD is coming sooner(this year), than later. Maybe like the DSi, where it's an upgrade of sorts, but not a complete changing of the system.
Glad to see more news coming out of Interplay. I really do hope they announce a new Earthworm Jim game this year.
If the "analysts" are right about the sale numbers for the consoles just in December 2009, the Wii sold more than 3 million consoles just in that month.
I guess we'll have to wait until Jan. 14, for official NPD data on console sales.
I know the games are at least two years old, but it's your second part as to why I'm confused a little by this.
Nintendo has had a lot of late purchasers of the Wii, so why not keep the games around for those people to be able to try and pick up?
I understand new games come out often, and maybe it's just Nintendo making more shelf space for their new games or something, I don't know.
If the game plays like Mirror's Edge, but with more FPS action, I can see how that could end up well. I own a PS3 and a Wii, and I will say I'm very interested to see how Red Steel 2 turns out with WM+.
It doesn't make sense to me, but I'm not swimming in piles of cash like Nintendo is.
Here's the partial response to a commenter on the blog post, that kind of said what you said:
"...Metroid Prime: Trilogy Collector's Edition, is the only Metroid Prime: Trilogy currently being published/shipped in the United States.
I live in the United States and emailed Nintendo of America.
I guess I could have clarified that in the article, because I didn't think about the NPC! versions in Europe and Japan, because I don't live there.
Also, in the...
I see the game getting great reviews for the most part, but the one thing I don't see mentioned a lot, is how many hours it takes to complete, and how much replay value the game has.
I played through KZ2, but didn't really enjoy it. Didn't think the game was bad(except the overuse of language) and I've only just begun Resistance: Fall of Man's campaign.
I guess it's a good sign for the PS3 that it's FPS games are selling well enough to warrant continued sequels.
Did I read that right on the review, they gave them game a 0?!
DSiWare looks to be getting better quality games, slowly but surely. Later this year, Legendary Wars: T-Rex Rumble will be released on DSiWare, and I'm interested to know more about that game.
I don't have a DSi, though I do have two Nintendo DS systems, but they are rarely played, so I guess I could always trade them off.
I never did play the first one, and I probably won't play this one either. Though if I do, it would be on PC.
I don't know if this game matters to Disney or not. Disney is a cash-cow, though I can see this game doing extremely well for them. I'm wondering how they'll advertise it on Disney, or if they will, considering it's supposedly a "darker" Mickey story.

Has this been confirmed for the Wii yet?
Proper credit for the article, since I'm not sure how it's linking to your site and not my site, where this originated:

I played a match the other night, and thought the graphics looked crisp. I wasn't stunned by them, but I thought they were good for what they were. Again, all this talk about graphics, what about game-play!
Since nobody at N4G seems to want to give the proper credit, here is the link again for the original story, as the rules state:
http://coffeewithgames.blog...
Can somebody please explain, why the ORIGINAL story was submitted over 17 hours ago as a "Wii tip", but nobody APPROVED it...only for this rewrite with a link to the ORIGINAL story to be approved? I mean, the rules do state, "Always submit the url to the original story when possible, and the url should link directly to the content." The original story is only linked to in the rewrite of it, is that how it works? If so, why is the original tip still "pending"? ...
At least Disney runs tv commercials, announcing the "locking up" of their movies. Nintendo just let these game seemingly go away.
