I'm thinking this game may be a day 1 download for me next week.
Call of Duty: World at War is my most played Wii game. I absolutely loved the online play in WaW.
I bought The Conduit day 1, I liked the customizable control options(missed one thing I like though) and I thought it the single-player campaign was good fun.
The Conduit's multi-player spawn glitch and lack of people playing caused me to end up trading it off...but I still haven't purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex.
Like you tunaks1, I actually prefer ...
I only own Metroid Prime Trilogy out of these, and my copy of the game is still sealed brand new. I haven't even opened it!
I'm really wondering if Sony will use this as a reason/way to introduce a "PSN Paid Network".
My PS3 is staying off until further notice!
House of the Dead: Overkill's world record is the main reason I don't want to play the game.
I wish there was a "content filter" like Call of Duty: World at War has on the Wii.
I'm going to try and keep the games into closer categories with each other, except Nintendo's big three games from 2009(at least the three I thought were the biggest).
I'm not sure how RE:TDC has sold compared to DS:E. The only think we can tell from these numbers is that RE:TDC had 3,121 more players reporting data than DS:E did this week.
Also, RE:TDC is still at its original MSRP, while DS:E has seen a price drop, as well as HOTD:O.
Thanks for the feedback!
I'm surprised by how little Dead Space Extraction is being reported.
Has anybody played Dead Space: Extraction and compared it to the other two?
"Coffee, I will say the Stay Puft fight looks pretty awesome...even though the graphics don't!"
You might want to make sure you weren't watching any videos for the PSP version of the game.
Again, I thought the Wii version had graphics that were nicely done and the game-play was a lot of fun in the game.
This is the last I'm addressing you hardcorez.
let you borrow my Wii to try the Wii version, but that won't happen right now.
I agree! Are you talking about the Wii version?
I think Red Fly Studio did a good job implementing the controls for the Wii. They were really interactive when it came to "catching" a ghost.
Definitely worth a rental.
If you're a completionist, and you have a nice sized tv to play it on, the two player mode on the Wii would be great to try through the entire game, so I would probably consider buying it then.
The graphics are not horrible, they're "stylized". I haven't played the PS3 version of the game, but I do know the Wii game controls extremely well and it's a lot of fun playing the game with the controls they have in the Wii version.
The Wii version is the only one I've played, and it was fun. I think the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC versions have some different level designs, and the graphics are more of the realistic approach, instead of the stylized cartoonish look of the Wii version.
Stop dumping your buckets of negativity on the Wii stories, I'm going to stop sending you the links to them. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is an extremely fun game, and one if I recall correctly you don't even own. If you would get off your PS3, and purchase New Super Mario Bros. Wii, maybe you would see why this game is doing well. My wife and I beat the game together and it was an absolute blast playing it together.
BTW Readi, thanks for submitting this over!
I saw a YouTube video of a video game that included RP as the player character. It looked like a flash-based game. So, if he hasn't played a game, at least he's in a game! Does that count?
maybe because the CPAC was using video games to attract the younger crowd, that many knew of the guy and had seen him on G4TV before, and that's why he won?
Thank you Readi!
At least the guy that won doesn't want the government involved in the video game industry.
BTW, what did you think of that Readi?
I was looking forward to see how Gladiator A.D. developed and what the final product would bring, in its old fashion/style. Now, I'm thinking like you, Tat. v. Cap. looks like the better choice for the money, if I'm going to buy a fighting game.
Gladiator A.D. had a great style, for what they were going for. I think they changed a lot due to Sega thinking this would help it sell better.
I don't know any other reason why they would change it other than that reason alone.
If the publisher says to change something, of they won't publish the game, the developer has to listen, or risk not getting the money for fund the project.
the game this past Monday.
Day 1 purchase of now.
