I was glad to see Dead Space finally debut with data, found it kind of ironic that I rented the game the same day the data debuted.
Most games play like the games before them in that genre. RPGs, FPSes, fighting games, etc.
Saying you don't like this game, because it played like the older Mario games, probably means you didn't like them either.
My wife and I just finished collecting all the star coins in the game this afternoon.
It does play like the old Mario games, which means it plays extremely well. The level designs in the game were basic, but well thought out and a lot of fun to play-through.
I never thought there would be so much yelling and screaming over a video game, but there was with this one. It's a blast to play with another person. I can see this one selling extremely well, just like Mario...
It's serious because it's not just happening with New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Other Wii titles have had the same issue. If you're an investor in a company, and that company is projected to miss it's earnings and they aren't supplying the market with enough product, that is a serious problem.
I think MAG has a lot of promise. The main thing I think MAG will require, is teamwork. I don't see it as being a game that can be picked up and played casually.

I wouldn't say the Wii has had "plenty" of great games that don't sell. I would say the Wii has had good games, that don't advertise and don't sell. If people don't know about the game, how can they even be interested in it to buy it.
Deadly Creatures should have been advertised on the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet.
No more Metroid Prime: Trilogy for now, it was swapped with Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.
I've only heard voice chat in one PS3 game, and that was Killzone 2.
Surprisingly, the dialogue wasn't as atrocious as I remember the dialogue back on the original Xbox's Live service.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is my most played game out of these three. It's going to be an interesting "battle" of sorts to see if/when NSMBW overtakes Wii Sports Resort.

Yea, they all have something that equals assuming for sales at some point. I think the best source of game sales are the publishers, and the financial statements when they talk about certain games.
The main problem is that doesn't happen very often.
Yea, it is interesting to see how certain games like The Conduit, have more players reporting data than established franchises like House of the Dead: Overkill and even Metroid Prime: Trilogy.
I'm not sure on total sales for House of the Dead: Overkill or Metroid Prime: Trilogy compared directly to The Conduit. The only "source" I know is VGChartz, but a lot of people don't consider their numbers accurate enough to use.
Does anybody play these games?
It will be interesting to see how long or if Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex will catch The Conduit.
So, does anybody think Nintendo will announce a Player's Choice line of games soon?
