Why would you ever buy a better graphics card, and cpu for your pc for gaming? It’s simple, you want better graphics for games.
All impressions are opinionated....
The console is far from overpriced. You spend $400-500 for a graphics card right now for the performace that this puts out. If you don’t like the game then that one thing, but calling the hardware “overpriced” is obscene.
People cancelled due to having multiple orders at different retailers so they made sure to get one. If they created false hype they wouldn't be in stock right now. I think you don't understand what that exactly is.
They put out as many as they could. They didn’t create false hype like Nintendo. This isn’t a new gen launch...
Understated? They were better than expect...?
New games take 3-5 years to usually make. The hardware wasn’t concrete until less than a year ago.
They said in a interview that they are surprised these studios are releasing patches so fast because they barely had enough time with it. I don’t think you realize how gaming development works, and especially when it’s based on hardware. The longest game that has been with the Xbox One X was Forza 7. The games already look amazing with what little time studios have had with the console.
It doesn’t need a launch title like they say of in the article. This time of the year is busy enough with releases that it can hold people over till Sea of Theives, and Crackdown. I don’t think the writer knows that games have long development cycles, and making a game in 1/2 years with unconfirmed tech is pretty much impossible. This is why you NEVER see console launch games push the console anywhere close to its limits.
When you ship so many units on one day this is bound to happen with manufacturing faults. This happens with every tech device these days that’s ships a lot of units.
If this was a big issue I would be hearing this from multiple sources however, this is the first, and this seems to be happening to a small amount of people. This is to be expected with such a high volume of units with any device being launched.
People still fail to realize this.
It up to the developers. You do realize you can make the strongest PC not even run 30 FPS if you just go really deep with assets right? I’m assuming you have no clue how that entire process works.
I do understand them, and put a lot of time into the game. It is hard to keep playing a game that requires you to come back every week for events just to raise your level rather than playing it. I love grinding games, but they seem to miss the target for me.
Because if I grind for 10 hours and don’t get any stronger gear higher than 285 it hasn’t no point.
It takes time to develop AAA titles. They also need to find the talent, or people will just complain about average games.
They all usually have like a 1 hour trial on Xbox. People clearly don’t understand that here. If you don’t like Early Access games then don’t buy them it’s plain and simple. The more options a consumer has the better.
Really? I never once was tempted to buy anything in this game nor pushed too. The media is literally creating a narrative that doesn’t even exist for this game. If you don’t like it then don’t buy the loot boxes. I expect outrage for every game that you can buy additional stuff for.
If you wish not to see micro-transactions then go buy the SNES that just came out. Games cost money, and the development costs have exponential increased. Instead of having everyone pay more they create more content for others to buy if they want it. I don't see the problem, however I have been playing games since the early 90s.
The cost of a game will probably go to $70 next gen. The reason they can still charge $60 is due to the exponential growth of gaming, however this will eventually slow down, and the the increase will happen.
