Canceling a game that didn't hold much promise? Last time I checked Sony has cancelled a lot of damn games since they have been around without even mentioning it. This goes all the way back to the early PS2 days.
22 exclusive games are a lack of games now? Crackdown looks amazing for what the games is, it's a cell shaded game. They already announced their would be no new Halo at this E3. Also, $500 is stupid cheap for that performance. How can you be that blind from your hate on microsoft.
Didn't give it justice? Where else are you going to get that performance for that price? People seriously need to do some research before commenting on a console that would be a 1000-1400 pc.
Looks amazing. The price is as high as it can go, but with the parts, and innovating engineering you can't blame them. They most likely will still lose money on the console. The games look amazing, even though the best 2 ones are 3rd party.
I agree. I would rather buy specific content I know I would enjoy.
Just charge for individual dlc?
I believe Spencer said he thinks they aren't right for the industry, and doesn't like doing them. The gaming community ultimately lose when these deals are done restricting content. I wish it was back to the house IP vs your IP.
Can't wait to see what how it does! Oh, and the games everyone is complaining about are going to be shown at E3 like every publisher does every year. Seems like people complaining forgot that.
Why wouldn't they focus show a product that would bring them revenue. Should they just have everyone "assume" it's better? If you think that then you have no idea how marketing works. I agree they need to show games, but when they show them, they need to associate them with Scorpio. If the graphical difference is dramatic it will just Make the Xbox One look crap, and then no one will even by a Xbox.
Because they don't have money to invest in both? Haha, games take 3-5 years to develop, we won't know until this years E3, or next. Spencer said he only wants to talk about games coming out this year which in contrast with Sony who shows games 2-4 years out all the time.
If they don't announce it around E3 it will be a big missed opportunity to keep the system relevant after The Legend of Zelda BOTW goes stale.
I know that since I am a preview member. That is why I said that if they put titles on it that I have not player I will look into.
The pass was nice, but I already played most of the games so it was lackluster for me. If they put others on in the future that I have not played I will look into it.
A lot of the performance is due to a customized chip which doesn't cost extra money besides the engineering to design it. They can hit $399 if they really wanted too. There isn't anything revolutionary with this, and the prices are going down because a lot of this is old technology rethought.
Super excited to upgrade come fall to a samsung 4K hdr for the Scorpio. I hope they put some games out to show case the power that are fun.
When you are the underdog sometimes you have to take a hit, and especially when Microsoft is wanting to asorb the Xbox universe more into their system more than ever.
$399 - $450ish I think is the highest it can get before it starts really pushing away consumers.
If they want to make a statement, and truly want to get the people who went to PS4 back it will have to be at $399, and they will have to announce a stellar line up at E3 that takes advantage of this hardware.
Then get the other opinion which is for people who cannot afford 4K gaming yet?
